Our dear friend dumpsterdiver at slickdeals posted it. Good until May!

Oh, it was in the Home Shop Machinist magazine.

Yes I was just going to post a link there. I cleaned mine up in Irfanview so it doesnt look so yellow--my printed copy's barcode scanned :)

I used it today -hot damn I'm excited. How do I post an anonymous link to my version or host it here at GJ?

Use the forum's attachment feature. There's a "manage attachments" button on the full/"Go Advanced" post page.

I'm making a HF run tomorrow and need some coupons. Online my total comes to $82.94, I'm hoping to get it near/under $50.

13 piece 1/2" drive deep wall metric impact sockets - $21.99
Solid nonslip drawer liner - $6.99
Oscillating multifunction power tool - $24.99
5 piece auto trim and moulding set - $6.99
4" digital caliper(any size would work for me) - $17.99
8 piece right angle screwdriver - $3.99

So coupon gurus do you have anything that will save me a ton of change?

I don't have them handy at the moment, but you can definitely get the oscillating multitool for 19.99 and a 6" digital caliper for 9.99. You can use a 20% on the impact sockets. Check for sooob's posts in the Slickdeals HF thread for printable versions of those three - but those are some of the most common coupons and may even be in your local newspaper flyer. That'd save you $18 or so right there. I see the drawer liner on sale all the time for $3 or $4 as well.

So coupon gurus do you have anything that will save me a ton of change?

First, go to Slickdeals here:
http://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=44694644&postcount=2031

Click on each link and then click on the photo to enlarge it. Check the expiration date as some are expired.

Compare coupons as HF will put out coupons for different amounts for the same item and even have it at a different price on sale in the store. Example is the 1.5 ton alum jack which is $80 on sale in the store right now (Reg $100) and has coupons for $63 and $60.

Print out multiple 20% and free item coupons as well as any super coupons you are interested in using. Print out free item coupons for different items as they may not have some in stock.

Print extras to give out to other customers at the store. It's fun to surprise people!

Check item numbers to see if items are on sale and to calculate whether a better price is gotten with a super coupon or a sale price with a 20% coupon.

Decide if you want to wait for a 25% coupon day.

Most important! Take lots of friends or relatives with you so you can use 20% and free item coupons for each item (Get each of them to buy one item and use a free item coupon for you).

I did all these things yesterday. I dragged my long suffering wife, kicking and screaming, along with me to accomplish the above. She was even willing to change clothes and hat to be able to go through the registers a second time if needed.

Alternatively, go for one item each day or go to multiple stores if they are close by.

Note: Many of the items you list have super coupons right now (Today).

Oh, it was in the Home Shop Machinist magazine.

I posted the entire scan of that page on SD (coupons print clearer from the PDF).

Great deal on that 5 drawer cart & the 50ft retractable hose reel. For those prices I'm picking up the cart this weekend & the reel later next month.

Went to look at the cart today & now I see why it's so popular. Both the HFs close to me just got a bunch of the 5 & 4 drawer carts in stock. Maybe there's a sale coming up soon for them.

HF 95272 - expires 5/1/12
HF 93897 - expires 5/1/12

Was looking for a coupon for the four drawer cart and finally picked it up today with a coupon. I was a little worried that they wouldn't take a photo of the coupon earlier in this thread so I was able to find an ad online with it.

Actually took the page ad and also a blown up version of the cart coupon just in case they had trouble reading the numbers. They gave me no trouble with the full page ad, so when I realized that another guy was buying the same cart we chatted about how nice the cart was and how much a similar one was for sale at sears, and how since it's dropped to 149.99 he was now picking it up, when the saleman walked away I slipped him the extra coupon I had.

I've attached the coupon to this post as well.

$99 is a good price for that 4 drawer cart. I had my mind set on getting that 4 drawer cart mainly cause it was black, that is until I checked it out side by side with the red 5 drawer cart. I try to stay away from red tool boxes. That black cart is definitely better than my old basic red Snap On 1 drawer cart that I will be replacing.

I hear nothing but great things about the 5 drawer red cart but I hate red. If it were black I would be all over it. So I went to check them out & the red 5 drawer cart is such a better buy than the 4 drawer. Overall it just feels better built, drawers have individual release latches, top has hydraulic shocks, & over all it's slightly larger so there more room. It reminds me of the Matco carts my coworkers got. I'm fine with the size of the black 4 drawer as it's comparable to my current cart but after finding the coupon for $149 for the 5 drawer cart I've decided to get the red one as much as I hate red.

For me, I'm mainly looking for a cart that I can work on and put some tools on. I really wouldn't have much of a problem with the plastic service carts that they have, but those never seem to go on sale, and even with the coupon their only 30 bucks cheaper than the black 4 drawer.

Mainly everything I work on I have to put my tools on the floor so I'm constantly bending down to pick up something or put something down, and everything on the floor becomes a hazard to twist my ankle. This cart will hopefully give me something to put my tools on so I can work while standing up, and maybe even provide a place I can put items I'm working on (IE like the head that's coming tomorrow), otherwise I've been working on the floor.

The red cart while very nice, was another $50 and more storage, but at the expensive of moving the actual "platform" upwards so that it really wouldn't be as comfortable to work.

So just to confirm if I print the coupon out that is listed above by a couple memebers HF should have no issue scanning it since it's not from a magizine or anything like htat?

I don't want to have drive out 30 miles to HF and then have them say no way...lol

Seems like a great buy for 150 bucks! Ive never shopped at HF, if the item isn't instock can they order it for that price?? Or is it a first come first serve "if we have" the item... type deal?

Thanks,

-Nigel

Call to check stock.
If you want to back your self up, take along a page from a magazine with a coupon for the cart at $159 and an extra 20% off coupon, which would also give it to you at that same 159 price.

My local store had no problem with trying to scan in the code and then typing it in. If they do give you a hard time, I'd just say that I get magazines through a virtual subscription on a tablet and I just printed the coupons out.

As for if the product is in stock, I'd call ahead. When I was there yesterday my local store had stacks of of the four drawer cart, I didn't see too many of the bigger cart.

I printed mine (the one before the nice clean one Darkzero printed) , used it, code scanner read it perfectly. My HF has no issues with printed coupons I print and cut - they could care less. I have heard stories that some do want the original newspaper and magazine ones and are ball breakers- but keep in mind a lot of us get emailed the coupons from HF --I do. So it shouldnt be an issue with most stores.

You have to forge that trail alone as no way to tell what yours will do until you go there and use it. My bet is they will take it. Just go on a saturday and to a college or HS kid at the register not some old bitty with an axe to grind :D

My hf doesnt even scan your 20%, they have one printed that's under the keyboard on the register.. they just lift it up and scan that one, then throw yours in the trash

Even if they don't scan they should take the coupon as long as the bar code number is legible. Most of the scannned coupons I find online don't print very clearly. I just brought some pretty blurry ones to work & they scan fine with my bar code scanner. As long as I can scan them, HF should be able to too.

I just bought my cart today with the $149 coupon using my iPad. I the coupon posted earlier and my printer was running out of ink so the coupon was all yellow and blurry. So I loaded up the coupon on my iPad before stopping. I walked in and asked the clerk if she would accept the printed coupons and she said yes but couldn't read the coupon number. That's when I pulled out the iPad and showed her and read out the numbers. Out the door at $159, I'm a happy camper.

Does the 20% off coupon work for non-HF branded products sold at HF? For example, my local store sells Gorilla Glue, Rustoleum paints, and Evapo-rust. I need more Glue and the 20% off would sure be sweet.

For what you have listed the answer is yes, remember a 20% off coupon is only good on one single item.

I scanned a PDF of the entire page & the PDF prints the cleanest over any jpg posted online. Scans perfectly fine as I just purchased the 5 drawer cart today.

PDF is too big to attach here on GJ. I have it posted on Slick Deals.
Here's a jpg of that page. Don't waste your time trying to print this pic, it won't come out clean enough. PM me your email addy if you want the PDF emailed to you.
