I'm confused. You have been posting about how awesome your toolbox is (and I agree) but your forum name appears to state that Harbor Freight is beneath you.:headscrat

You misunderstand completely.

HF offers excellent value, and the people at my local store are absolutely delightful.

I like the store, and I like the people.

Don't try to read too much into the handle.

It is a play on the self-deprecating title of the biographical work by the comedian, Adam Carolla, entitled Not Taco Bell Material.

My store apparently refuses to get those swivel head ratchet wrenches :(

I just got the SAE 5pc set, but cant find the Metrics anywhere, the website says back ordered, but the website says the SAE set I have doesnt exist, the store cant even look it up by item number, so we'll see I guess.

Well, thanks anyhow. I tried the 20%, but to no avail.
Still the set-up shown was a pretty good deal:
13 Drawer lower box: $349.99
Top Chest: $299.99
Side Cabinet: $199.99

All-in for less than $850 - that's not bad.
Add the 5 Drawer Service Cart for $169.99, and I am pretty much set.

And to top it all off, my step-son was very happy to get my old Craftsman:beer:

well played sir. eventhough there were coupongs floating around for the tool cart for $149, you still got an awesome deal on the total package. let us know how it all works out for you.

Where are the coupons for $149 for the cart? I've been trying to track one down that hasn't expired and haven't been able to find one lower than $159.

Geez. I never thought I would get so fired up about coupons!
It's kind of ridiculous.
Now I can no longer give my wife a hard time about snatching the ad from the mailbox and spending half a day at JoAnn Fabric.
I think this forum may be a cry for help.:3gears:

Cheechi, that took me to a zip file, my system says it's clean, in case anyone backed away from it (though why would you trust me more? lmao), maybe better to load the individual images, no one will ever mind that when they are good coupons :D

I am looking to get a 2,000lb winch to use for my ATV. Does anyone have one of the coupons to get them cheaper than buying them and using the 20% off?

I printed it off. They will use this at the store and not question that it is a copy?

That depends on the store to some extent (look back through this thread and you'll see that it varies). At the HF that is local to me they will accept it as long as they can read the number. ...and they read the number off the ad on my smart phone.

My advice is to take a 20% off coupon and the printed one. That way if one doesn't work you can use the other.

Has anyone ever had problems with an HF store not accepting one of these coupons because they are printed copies and not the original?

Just curious what I may be in for before I try to use one?

I went to the HF in Salt Lake City last night and since the trip wasnt planned I only had a pic on my phone, they took it with no trouble, in fact, the coupon was for the older style, the numbers didnt match and they gave me the discount on the replacement tools. Overall excellent customer service.

Is there a particular way you should present these coupons if you print it off the internet and redeem in-store? I wasn't sure how they would respond to a printed coupon if the fine print says "must present original coupon."

shouldnt be a problem, they also email coupons so youd HAVE to print it... lolunless you download it onto your phone or Ipad...lol,lol.. You can go to the HF site and sign up for the coupons to be emailed and/or sent in the mail to your house.

Anybody have a coupon for the hydraulic lift cart? Either the 500 or 1000lb capacity model.

I have a dust collector sitting in my shop and no way to get it on the wall without one, my engine hoist won't work...

I don't have a coupon but I use my 1000 lb capacity one to lift stuff into the back of my pickup all the time. It also makes a good portable work bench.

Last week I used it to pull the deck off of my riding lawnmower.

I have one. It is plenty accurate enough for any job. It is not high power, and a bit fiddley to adjust, but worth it.

All of the coupons I get say the same thing. Are there any that are good for tool storage? :dunno:

The reason I asked is I am looking at a side drawer cabnet, on sale for $199.99 wondering if there is any coupons for a cheaper price.

Here I was doing the first lines for my stripe:

Jim

thanx, I got it today with a 10% off $52 with tax. Its really cheap feeling when I got it out of the box, 4AA's doubled the weight :rolleyes2. we'll see how it goes, a stripe is not rocket science, specially on block which has the mortar lines.

I watch their coupons regularly and have never seen one for anything other than the 13-drawer lower chest. The upper, the cabinet, and the one you showed are always at "sale" price. Their 20% coupons have excluded tool cabinets for going on two years now.

Did you just use it as a high lift jack and raise up one end of the mower with it? I have the 1000lb cart and was wondering if I should get the motorcycle lift or not

Come on now!

I don't need encouragement!

Welcome to the disease....

Nope... the mower is too close to the ground to use the cart as a jack. I used the floor jack to put the mower on jack stands and with the deck all the way up the cart BARELY fits under the mower deck. Then I pulled the pins, belt, and attachment and moved the deck out from under the mower. I might have moved the deck up/down a couple of inches.

Of course before I pulled the deck I had to see if I could lift the whole mower. Worked like a charm.
