Well I went to harbor freight to get the 2.5 ton floor jack I saw the aluminum 2 ton. I sort of liked that one better. Does anyone happen to have a coupon for that. They were sold out of the breaker bar so I will be back tomorrow when their shipment comes in.

Damn, was finally going to pull the trigger on the 5 Drawer Service Cart for $169.99, but looks like the coupon expired 4 days ago :(

I'll have to keep an eye on this thread, hope another coupon becomes available soon!

Red Roller Cabinet Top Chest

EXPIRES IN 5 DAYS ON 12-17-12

Does anyone have a link to or can you refer me to a coupon for the 41" HF red roller cabinet top chest cabinet 68787 in gloss red powder coat? They are normally $299 but I just missed out on the $249 coupon above. I would like to buy a matched set in the next couple of days. I have a $349 coupon for the 44" lower roller cabinet.

Thank you very much!

There isn't one anymore. If you didn't go in and bought one when the coupon was valid (or got a raincheck like in my case) you pay the regular price until another coupon surfaces.

I purchased the 2.5 ton steel jack and that weighs a metric **** ton. I dont mind the weight but the wheels on the jack really ruin the floor of my garage. I think I will return that for the aluminum one.

Probably every 6 months. I say that because I bought mine in June with a $249 coupon and this $269 is the first one I've seen since.

Lots of people are sorry they missed out on this. To bad there wasn't a way to get on a list where you could be notified of when coupons are available.

Interesting... a lot of comments were made the $269 super coupon was one of the first coupons for the top chest anyone has seen.

I just got a sale flyer yesterday that I thought had the price at 199.00 before any additional discounts. I am away from home now, but will be back this evening.

I will check and report back.

I'd appreciate it, the flyer I got in the mail shows it at $229.

I'm sorry I goofed up. The 199.00 price I was thinking of was the 20% off the 229.00 price plus tax here in Wi.

Sorry to get your hopes up. I was disappointed too.

Steve,

No problem, I may have to bite the bullitt and go with the sale price, plus the 20% off coupon. Thanks

had to make a delivery to dickson TN from home the other day.
on the way back just to get out of the car and stretch my legs, i walked into harbor freight store i had found using my phone.
i asked the guy if i could use a 20 percent off coupon on the red tool cart that was already marked down until the 31st.
he said it says on the coupons it cant be used on rolling tool chests.
i said well this is a rolling tool cart. it doesnt say chast on the box.
he said "ya know? thats how i usually see it. lets see your coupon."
i said "i dont have it with me" and explained about living 250 miles away and stopping in just to stretch my legs.
he said "if you want to buy one right now, i will sell it to you for $159.99 plus tax"
i said " i would be all over that if i had a coupon with me"
he said "dont need one if you buy right now."
So i bought it. i am really glad i stopped in. bought the wrench tray for the drawe while i was at it.

This one? Mine was made in USA, not bad with the 20% coupon; don't think I'd be willing to pay much more for it anyway. I'm not 100% sure I like it well enough to keep it over the individual trays I had. Too many misc things that are like 1% off, if that makes sense. Biggest thing is I have no use for the 3 side parts where the flare nut wrenches go, I have 9 of them. Overall, thinking of buying another one but I'm not in love with it. I'm wondering if it's better suited for a service cart than for your main wrench storage.

Regarding online orders, the website is actually a totally separate 'store' some guys in the stores say they're a different company which may also be true. Personally, I would rather pick my own out from their stock if I can. I wouldn't take advantage of picking up online orders except for big stuff they keep crated in the back anyway.

thats the one.
after messin with it tonight once i was done assembling the cart, i think i might cut the part out that is made for allen wrenches and put something else in that area.
i like Lisle organizational items.

what im really leaning toward is buying another cart and use one for metric and one for standard and put only sockets, wrenches, and allen wrenches in each one and then have a large tray or two to keep ratches, impacts and screwdrivers in and place it in top of whatever cart i am using at the time.

the only big problem i would have is working on my 74-76 big buicks that i have put TBI motor/****** combos in. it might be a tool storage decision i would quickly regret.

Isn't $159.99 the current coupon price? (not the 20%, but priced cpn)

You can make all of nothing or some of something. They made the right call. Especially because the guy in the store knows he's not building a customer who will be returning to that particular store in a regular basis. Doesn't matter what store or company you talk about, that's how you're supposed to do business. They probably still made plenty of profit off $159 where they could have made zero profit if he didn't buy it.

My store's manager would probably do something like this for me if I bugged him for a few minutes. Right off the bat, he knows me and knows I sometimes buy big stuff, but he wouldn't go out of his way without a little greasing.
