That should work my store takes the codes because their scanners dont work on
smart phones. Sending you a pm with my email if you could just email me the coupon
that would be awesome I might even be able to resize it and post it.

Update on the GC. I got a third message and called back. This time I was told that there was a mistake and my order could not be fulfilled. But just as everyone was saying before they bribed me with $25 gift card. Since I new that was what there were giving anyway, I wanted a $50 gift card. I made big push since the Q states that the it can not be used WITH a gift card not ON or PURCHASED FOR a gift card. She quickly agreed. Maybe I should have held out for more.

Anyway, not bad. Got $50 bucks for free and all my money back on the CC. This was fun. I love HF even more. Would have been nice if it all went through.

Guess where I am going today?

Happy Shopping!!!!

3 Ton Heavy Duty Jack Stands Coupon - 38846 / 69597

Harbor Freight 3 Ton Heavy Duty Jack Stands Coupon - 38846 / 69597 - $15.99.

I will using this coupon with my $20 GC (Gift Card) that HF will be sending me for not processing my (2) $100 GC @ 25% off (coupon).

If you read the 25% off coupon, it says cannot be used WITH Gift Cards, it does not say cannot be used ON Gift Cards - so technically they should honor these transactions. HF does reserve the right reneg on orders for whatever reason. This falls under the whatever category.

Not sure why some people got their order processed regardless, some got $25 GC, I got $20 GC and others nothing?

Just read your post after posting myself - basically the same thing, but I guess I didnt push hard enough - only got $20. But then again my potential savings would have been $50, opposed to your $125. They actually had me scan my coupon and email it to them to prove my point regarding the language used on THEIR coupon. Sounds like they already knew the language used, but they were just hoping I would just give up. I had to talk to 3-4 different people before the partially conceeded.

Looks like they are willing to part with 40% of what your potential savings would have been. I suggest anyone who got denied to call and ask for this amount.

I am just all into the small things this week. First the Adjustable Mini Spray Gun and now the 1/8" Air Micro Die Grinder With Case. Got a lot of scrap pieces so I thought this is a good way to make good use of them. The Q for the micro die grinder has expired. I will attach it anyway. If anyone has an unexpired Q please post it.

So I just got off the phone with customer service and my
GCs have shipped to me and are the correct amount.
I guess because I did 3 separate orders for $100 ones
they just figured it was close enough to the $20 they
offered everyone else and let it go.

Lucky you. You got the full $75 discount. I got a $20 GC. Not sure what the logic HF is using here. I am thinking I am going to use the $20 GC to buy $20 worth of stuff at the store, instead of my original plan of buy $200+ on a bunch of stuff with the discounted $100 GC's that I had originally ordered.

Now that they are backtracking, I have already looked into purchasing items thru Amazon Prime instead or not purchasing anything at all. All of a sudden that HF $40 sighting scope deal isn't so appealing. Now that I think about it, all that stuff I was originally going to buy - is all stuff I really don't need. Thanks HF for breaking the addiction!

You might want to post the reviews in the pass/fail thread

Good thinking. I went too big on the GC. Nice!!! make it last with all those Q's and that $75 is more like $125 and it was all free.

This has probably been asked before ... but has anyone been successful in using a 20% or 25% discount coupon with another HF "special" coupon?

I know the 20%/25% coupons say "not for use with other discount, coupon, etc."
- but I was just curious.

These have different codes on them so they may be one time use only.
:( I have a few email addresses that theses get sent to so if they turn out
to be one time use and you need one let me know.

If its on different items than you can use more than one coupon but not a coupon with a 20% or 25% and I have only gotten one 20 or 25% to work
per order or transaction

Lets say I've got 3 20% off coupons, could I go in 3 times in a short period of time or should I keep a fake beard/sunglasses in the car. Do the people who work there even care?

I can sure use one. Would like to test it out.

I'll send you the other one I think I still have that email you sent me the other day. You have to do a screen shot of it or show them the email on your phone because they split this new batch of coupons into 3 images.

It does say 1 per customer per day but some stores will let you go out
and come back and use it again, or maybe say they are separate orders.

I have been searching for the answer to this but I can't get a clear response - is it possible to use a 20-25 percent off coupon on a tool cabinet if the 18yo cashier doesn't know about the rule? Does the computer system automatically reject the tool cabinet as it is prohibited or can this transaction slip through the cracks? For instance, the 44" roll cab is commonly "on sale" for $370-380. If I present the 25% off coupon, is it technically possible to make this work?

Works all the time as far as I know. I don't believe the computer alerts the cashier to the sale price + coupon rule and furthermore, I don't think the cashier gives a damn anyhow. A lot of HF **** is always tagged as "on sale".

If HF gave me a stink about trying to use a coupon on top of a "sale" price I'd walk. Those coupons can be found in any car magazine. So right off the bat, 25% off listed prices is the actual price in my mind. A sale price + the coupon is when you actually make out. The coupons are just a sales gimmick IMO.

The sales system will automatically tell them that the coupon is not valid on the items that are listed at the bottom of the coupon.

He wasn't asking about a coupon on top of a sales price. The question was about a coupon on top of an excluded item.

To reiterate the answer, the system will not allow it.
