Well, I do have the 25% discount coupon ... so I can always use that.

Or go with the 6 amp its only 20 with coupon and it has the
rotating handle. I have owned neither though so I cant comment
on longevity

The reason I said that one is because its not noted on the coupon
that you cant use it on the normally excluded stuff. Maybe try mentioning
that it doesnt say it on the coupon.

For anyone interested, I ended up using a coupon code on the 56" toolbox. The code was online-specific, but they didn't even hesitate to use it in the store. I just gave them the following number - 65849951. This box is $699 on the home page of HF right now.

Wait, this doesn't have the tool box/compressor exclusion on it. It also doesn't have an expiration date. Where/when did you get this?

It doesn't matter that the exclusion isn't on it. The current policy supercededs. When they originally changed the policy a few years back to exclude toolboxes they had signs up all over in their stores stating such.

I think if you bring your recipt in they can refund you the difference if its less than 30 days. If you did it online then you may have to call customer service with the coupon numbers. It will save you $40. Thats 1/2 tank of gas...

I am pretty new to this forum myself. I have both posted q's and used q's from the thread. It's a great place to come and see if there is a possible discount on an item I may be looking for.

In my opinion, possibly an entire written review on an item here in this thread may not be appropriate, but making mention about a link to a review or a link to a video you shot abut an item that you are posting a q for or someone is requesting a q for is just being "neighborly" and I believe in the spirit social interactive forums.

Anyway, enough said. Back to clipping....

It would be neighborly if it wasn't some trying to run a business and a SPAM variant in practice.
