Been looking for the $239.99 coupon that were in the magazines about a month or two ago. I went by the book store over the weekend and looked thru the car, motorcycle and diesel power/world mags and no luck these were the June/July issues that were on the shelfs.

I'm hoping it goes on sale around father's day. It sure would be a nice first fathers day present (to myself even if it has to be)!!

It must be an issue with my browser (firefox). I tried it again, and still didn't work. I tried another time with IE, and it worked fine. It may be that I need to clear cookies, or some other thing such as that. At any rate, my issue turned out not to be with the coupon itself.

Clearing cookies, history, and cache on the browser caused the code to work just fine in the same browser that was causing trouble. I guess it thought I had used enough coupons lately ;)

Just a quick question for you guys, what is the best coupon you guys found for the 44" Lower Tool Box these days? does it ever come down of ~$350 (coupon price). I think ~$350 is the lowest coupon i've seen for that unit. I just cant pull the trigger and buy it cuz there might be a better lower price coupon for it out there.

Yea the $349.99 is the cheapest coupon I've seen, but a little harder to come by seems like the $359.99 coupon is the norm. I have not checked out diesel world/power magazines lately to see if they have the $349.99 coupon.

In that case, I'd definitely have to look out for those $350 coupons and pull the trigger on it. If anybody find those 349.99 coupon for the 44" lower please post :). Thanks.

Yea seems prices are creeping up, the once easy to find $149.99 5 drawer tool cart coupon was plentiful then it went to $159.99 now the 164.99 is showing up as the norm in the mags ($169.99 in the emails) which *****. Been looking for the $239.99 top tool box coupon for the 44" roller but no luck thus far, got a feeling that might not be showing up any more . Last time it was seen was March/April.

FWIW, My local HF (Grand Rapids, MI) is doing the sidewalk sale this weekend, the 44" is listed for 359.99 in that flier (and hoping to pick one up!). They also said they would match the code (56156590) to match the current online sale, in case you didn't make it over the sidewalk sale.

Related, has anyone seen the 7 drawer 12" addon end box for under $199? Seems a bit silly to pay $200 for 12" when you get the original 44" for $360. :(

25% coupons now standard?

I just got my Car and Driver mag yesterday and it has a 25% coupon instead of the 20%. Also in the little coupon pamphlet-booklets they send out I get the 25% in there too, Cool! Maybe?? Are HF prices going up and it's a wash?

Thats also my local store. I have not seen the side cab for less than $199.
If you want to get the 44" before the sidewalk sale heres a coupon for the same price.

So just little thought - seems like ordering stuff ONLINE specially when your just using specific coupon for specific items and maybe throw in the 25% off for the most expensive thing that you want to buy is CHEAPER - than when you actually go to the local store and do the same thing (use specific coupon for specific items and throw in 25% off on 1 item) since you would get charged sales tax for the total price. Where as doing it online you only get charged the flat rate 6.99 for non overweight items.

I don't know if what I'm trying to say made sense but what do you guys think? Am I seeing this right?

If you can, go to the store instead of ordering. I would want to look over and test out anything from HF before I buy it. They are getting better but they're not at the point yet where I would order anything from them yet.

Well I kinda did an experiment last night when I posted where I "ordered" the stuff and about to pay. The Grand Total was the sale price of all of the items plus flat rate shipping of 6.99. No sales tax was included. I didn't actually go through with the order since I don't want to buy the items yet. Least thats what it reported back to me on this state (FL).

I know being in the IT industry, the government is trying to put sales tax on all online orders but I'm pretty sure that hasn't happened yet.

Ofcourse, there's always pro's and cons to consider - if you buy online you can't really inspect the item before you buy it, but if this is right and you dont get taxed, you still saved a few bux- and also since its online, you will always have your receipt and not lose it or fade and cant read anymore. Whereas if you buy at the local store, you get to inspect and choose the item but you will pay sales tax and you will have those receipts on heat paper or whatever you call it which fades over time - i mean you can always scan it to the computer after but im lazy lol.

Get yourself one of the NEAT Desktop Organizers. Run your receipts through it, then you can toss the original. I bought one 2 years ago and it's a great thing to have.

Wish it were the same 40% off list as the 44".. $180 is almost tolerable, $150 feels more appropriate given it's size. Oh well.

Thanks for the coup!

I always look at the tool boxes at HF like this I CANT get this quality
this cheap anywhere else even for a side box so the 199 doesnt bother

is the cement 3cf mixer any good?

Better to ask these things in the PASS/FAIL thread, but since it's here...
I used one of the smaller ones to build a retaining wall, and it worked surprisingly well. Wish the owner had gone with with larger one though, would have made the job go quicker.
