HF dont like it when you buy a 1.00 magnet use a 25% coupon and get a multi meter and have 5 neighborhood kids follow you with the same thing hahaha! Not like I need a multi meter i have my nice fluke 189 but great to lend to people or use where i dont want my fluke damaged..

This...then again my local HF knows me by name. Great place to get mechanics gloves, drawer liners, air hoses and attachments, ect. Love the 25% off coupon. My record using it was 4 times in one day.

On the way to work, going to lunch, coming back from lunch, and on the way home. Bought drawer liners.

Eyeballengineer...If you can read the coupon code, go online to HF website and add the product you want to your shopping cart and apply the code. It will let you know if the code is valid or not. Just a suggestion.

So they should be good in the store.

If the coupons work for 25% off on line they will work in the store. The coupons above you should be able to just give the codes, that is what I always do. The only thing I am not sure of is are you only limited to one free coupon per visit? That I don't know.

I walked in yesterday and got all 6 items at once. I asked the clerk when I walked in, she said no problem.

I honestly think it depends on who is working. I know I went in and used a 25% off coupon and a 20% off coupon with no problem. The next time another cashier said I couldn't do that.

I personaly wouldnt buy that set. One thing i wouldnt buy from hf is chrome sockets, and wratchets.
I'd get the husky set, rebranded gearwrench's. So the quality is better.

I own tools from a lot of places, so this is my opinoin on that socket set.

Thats what I was thinking, or I wonder if you asked her if It was OK if you got in line again. Did she ring them all up at once (free items)
Thats like when Ace Hardware had that 1/2 off coupon, the kid let me use one 2X in 1 day.
I am going to look at an Arbor press, Figure I will stop at HF on the way home.

I could even throw my 1/4" gear wrench set in the car, and not miss it at home. (or of course get it out of the car if I needed it)

I personally would get them they are cheap and if your not going use them for everyday use and just going to put in your car for an emergency and with a lifetime warranty how can you go wrong? I have a better Pittsburg set I use every day and it still has yet to fail me, like craftsman and snap - on has.

I have a lot of HF sockets. They are fine so long as you pay attention to which ones you are buying, same with ratchets.

Have you considered the kobalt cart at Lowe's? My Lowe's just dropped it to $107. Something to consider if you have a Lowe's near by.

They in no uncertain terms told me NO!!!
I even tried to sweet talk the manager, Told him I was an Hour away, and I was buying the bearing separator kit.
He didn't care.

So checking out, I used the coupon code for the free, 6" magnetic parts tray.
Then I asked the cashier, "did she care if I came back in and went to the other line to get the free tarp"?
She said "No, your not supossed to tell me.....LOL.
So I went to the other line, and she was like"did you get a free Item from the other girl"?
I sort of said No, and mumbled "she didn't care" so the 2nd one gave it to me. Then I said, "I'm all the way from Wheeling" .......................

But, yes, I was able to use the code written down off the coupons.
Did not have to bring my tablet in.
They were saying they plan to open one in Weirton WV, but that is still a good 40 minuets from me.
I personally think a HF in Wheeling would do well.
Lot of Blue collar DIY kind of people here.

I never saw a free shipping code like that.
I feel your pain, I drove to the Parkersburg store a few years ago, try as we may, could not get the cart in my Olds Alero.
It's times like that that I miss My little ****** station wagon.
It would have went right in it.
I am getting a trailer hitch for the alero, and a transmission cooler this spring.
I can rent a small trailer if I need to haul something.

That Kobalt cart is really flimsy. I wouldn't buy it. I don't know how the HF 5-drawer cart feels, but a lot of guys I've worked with have bought them for the shop. Most of those guys leave with the cart pretty quick though. Take from that what you will, but I know they like their HF carts.

I really didn't check the lowes cart too too much, just looked at it.
I know 1st hand the HF cart is solid though.
