I mentioned the kobalt in comparison to the $99 black cart, not the 5 drawer. It's not heavy duty, but not bad for $100...especially if there is no local HF.

I would not buy the set that was referenced, BUT I would buy the Pittsburgh Pro chrome sockets. Significant difference. The "Pro" stuff is much better and is made in Taiwan vs. China. I would say they are at least on par with the Craftsman sockets I own.

Edit: I tried posting the coupons but my computer is being a little ***** and won't let me. You can see them on HF website under big yellow "Free" banner. I'm going to keep trying.

I got all 6 items for free at one time. I read the coupon codes to the cashier, and when she realized I was leaving the store with 6 items and didn't pay a penny, she was slightly annoyed that she even had to ring me up. In my defense, I spent a bunch of money the day before this page of 6 coupons came out, and didn't get a single item for free.

Why get annoyed? Isn't it her job to ring you up? You don't need a defense if they didn't want to give free stuff they wouldn't offer coupons, plus trust me this company isn't losing money.

Works perfect on the golf catrt dragster. :3gears:

The 1/2" one frequently goes on sale, but I've never seen the 3/8" one go on sale. I would recommend snagging one of the 20% or 25% off a single item coupons to drop the price.

I never attempted to get more than one free coupon item when shopping at HF. After reading this, I stopped by on my way home with six free items and a few regular. The cashier told me only one discount (free) item per day. When the manager stopped by, I asked him if the policy was for his store or all of HF: he said it was Company wide. It appears not all cashiers are properly trained on this issue.:confused:

It wasn't a big issue for me but I want others to know that you could be faced with the same response at a HF near you.;)

I went to the second local HF this morning on my way in to work and was told only 1 free item per day as well. Interesting enough, I went to a different HF yesterday and got all 6 items for free, without paying for a single thing.

I went by 2 different HF stores today and only got 1 per store. Got the flashlight and the magnetic tray. Going back for another tray tomorrow. ;)

I have one currently in front of my workbench. It's a nice foam mat that connects like a puzzle. It's pretty comfortable and keeps my feet off the freezing concrete.

I haven't seen that saw on sale for $199 in a very long time. The same saw is sold under a ton of different names by the same OEM. It's a fairly simple machine and there are a lot of good mods available to make it even more reliable.
