A few members have dealt with bleepholes who have denied them when presented with copies.
For the most part just reading the code # is good.
A copy should be no problem.

I got a coupon for the 22pc (i think) screwdriver set for $9.99. I have one that I bought as a beater flat head, but actually like it about as much as my older MAC set.
They are magnetized and feel very nice.

At my store, they're good with just reading the number to them. I keep copies of the coupons I use on my phone.
In my experience, Harbor Freight bends over backwards to keep everyone happy. I think the only customers they've ever been hardasses to were guys who were being unreasonable i.e. the guy I saw try to use 8 freebie coupons in one transaction while spending exactly zero dollars.
Are the drivers themselves good? I've seen the set and considered it for a vehicle set also. Just never seen any pass/fail on them.

I have one of the flat heads from the "Pro" 8 piece version, on sale w/ NO coupon for 8.99 right now. I believe these are better than the 22pc version.

You would think they are better due to the price difference but are they? It would be nice if someone who owns both sets could give an opinion.

Went into my local HF yesterday with a handful of coupon sheets. When I walked up to the register, the first words out of her mouth were "Only one free item per day". I said I had one free, and one free with purchase. She said she didn't think she could do that. I told her to try it, and the register would reject it if it wasn't allowed. She said that it wouldn't do that...hmmmmm.....
She asked the other cashier if it was OK, and it was. So 1 free, another free, and 20% off of a $5 item. A great day at HF.
