They are junk best used to tie up garbage bags for trash pickup. The same with the shrink wrap.

If it matters I use a Ty-Rap with a Thomas and Betts stainless steel locking barb they never come apart.
With shrink tubing I use Raychem every thing else is sub par.

Yeah, I'm about to just bite the bullet on that one. Seems like they know it's in demand and aren't offering what they did last year ($99-109).


Watch them throw out an offer right after I buy it...

That 2 ton low profile is hard to find deals on at the moment. I wanted it, but I gave up after finding that $130 coupon and bought the 3 ton low profile for around $73 pre tax w. coupon.

Would have liked the extra lift height, but I couldn't justify the $$.

I'm right there with you. I've been waiting a while for this to drop and it doesn't seem like we will get anything better than this. I have a store opening up in a couple months thats only 10 miles from my house. Maybe with their store opening they will offer something special (doubtful, but that is the only way I have been able to keep myself from just buying it at that price).

A store just opened up near me, and their official grand opening is tomorrow. I'll stop by and check, but all the offers in the email are pretty much the same as what they normally offer.

On the contrary, I had a lot of issues with a clerk who didn't want to refund me $10 because the 44" box was on sale at the parking lot sale. Ended up getting a $10 gift card, only because I asked to speak with a manager.

No dice on the long reach 2T low profile.

I found Northern Tool offers the same/similar jack w/o the fancy handle and foot pump for $219. Add a $20 off 100 coupon, and I still have a $75 gift card from the Milwaukee offers, drops it to $124, no tax.

They also have a 3.5T that's a little longer than the HF 3T low profile (21.375" max vs 19.75" on the HF), but the minimum height is a lot higher at 3.5" vs 2.875".

I picked up a 4 drawer roller cart, put it together. Not bad construction, for $99 I can live with it but with all the confusion in those places I wouldn't doubt if you can use one of those 25% off coupons. Try it

The register will not take 25% off of tool boxes (or jacks or compressors) unless a manager overrides it. Their computer system will apply the 25% off to the next highest priced item in your purchase instead. This also happens online - put the items in your cart and try the coupon code and it won't work on the toolboxes.

Some folks have reported that they were able to get 20% off on a tool box if they bought an Inside Track club membership ($40 I think), but this depends on the manager and is not a sure thing.

I used the inside track discount with a manager over riding it for my bottom chest about two months ago:rocker:

I grabbed the 56" top box the other day on open box clearance & haggled them down to $240.00 so I HAVE to go get the bottom box for the matched set ...... right? ;)
