So how is everyone using these coupons? Tealing them the coupon code? Prinning the coupon? Showing it on their phone?

my place so far just looks at the coupon then types the code in.. But last time I went they wouldn't match there online price and let me use a coupon with % off. So i placed the order online instead and that worked lol. kinda bs I think.

Mine told me I can just use my phone to show the coupons. Yesterday I went though got a few items I printed out the pages and they had the coupon code but no barcode he did say they need the barcode but would try the code and they worked but said alot of times they don't but that can be YMMV.

It was the Friday-Sunday sale they had and it was on HF.com site so not sure if that was online only codes or what.

In the store but I tried it online as well and it worked, it was in perfect shape. No tears or anything wrong with the cardboard and the driver was great on the forklift, however I am taking it back for the 72. Anyone have the 1000$ coupon??

What is the typical display item policy for HF?

I went in to buy a manual tire changer for my father and they had none in stock, but has a clearance tag for $21 for one and only had the display model left.

I asked the girl at the register to check inventory and they didn't have any left, I then asked if they would sell the display model and she said no.

I wonder if it is worth a trip back tomorrow during the day and speaking to a manager there.

If something is on clearance will HF sell the display model?

I wouldn't ... they don't have all the parts usually. I wanted to get a parts washer but all they had was the display ... no pump , no box , no nothing ... I passed.

I'm all for coupon usage at Harbor Freight. I just think that the way that a lot of people use coupons at Harbor Freight is unethical. One dude finds a single use 25% off coupon in his magazine in Bumblebutt UT and now it goes nationwide and gets used hundreds of times.

If the website takes the number, there isn't nothing wrong with using it, as far as I can see.

I went to my local Harbor Freight where I know the store manager and the front manager by name and they know me. Saw the store manager and asked him and showed him the coupon on my phone and asked if I can use it on the 44 bottom chest. He said he never seen one like it and called his assistant if he seen one and said no. And they been there for years. Well he said he was going to email corporate and let me know. They had parking lot sale and the box was $359.00 and he said if not he will work out something me maybe the store display.

How big of an air tank do you need? I went in to buy an air tank and left with a hot dog compressor. I had a magazine coupon for $40 for the compressor. It wasn't much more because the tanks weren't on sale. The tanks are on sale right now.

20% coupons can be used on sale items.

you just cannot stack coupons. for example, cannot hand a cashier a coupon for an item and then have them stack the 20% off coupon on the coupon price. make sense?

Most HF will take the 20% (or the 25% off coupon) on top of the sale price. Most don't even require the coupon, just the code.

There isn't one out right now, 20% is the best out at this moment. I'm guessing after the January sales die down they will issue another 25%'er.

Hey leftyz,,,sounds like it time for another 44 for a side-to-side version... I really thought of the 72", but looking side to side at the 56" compared to the 72" ,I'm going with a top and bottom 56" for around the same price....Then with the side draw box, there's a ton more room....
