In the real world nothing.

Usually it indicates they were made at different factories or had different supply chains (parts & routing). Often your store will only have one or the other, for the bigger items like that.

The 50% off is not a coupon but just a sale advertisement. 50% off the full msrp which seems to be higher than the items with coupon discounts.

If you click on the link, the prices in red are the price after the discount compared to the price above it that is crossed off. At a glance it looks like on it's own it not a deal at all. Most items will be cheaper with a coupon or use a 20% off along with the sale price if no coupon is available.

One other thing i also heard about 2 months ago from an employee was that Harbor Freight was coming out with a new updated cordless tool line. I guess it is supposed to be a lot better from what they are offering now. If you don't mind, can you try to verify this as well for us?

I stopped in HF today and picked up the 3/8" drive long handle flex head ratchet. I used the 20% coupon. All was fine but I want the whole set so I need the other 4 ratchets. Do I have to go in 4 more times to get 20% off each one. Is there a 20% off total purchase coupon anywhere?

Depends on store. Some will let you go through the line a few times, some are strict about only once a day. I'd try going through twice back to back and see if they care

LOL, the HF near me has at times held to the once a day. I've seen guys wait at the counter for someone not using a coupon and ask them to buy stuff for them if they'll give them a free item they get.

LOL that's no worst than standing at the top of the freeway ramp. With a sign will buy HF tools for the free gift.

I have noticed that they don't offer these free items as no purchase required anymore. They almost all says free with a purchase.

I do this. I give the 25' tape measures to my BiL a couple dozen at a time. He is a plaster guy, is barely scraping by, and really appreciates the gifts.

You mean if I have more then one 20% off coupons with different codes I can use them on same transaction? I just looked I have three with different codes. One from Motor Trend one from weekly flyer and one from the coupons that come in a bunch in one envelope.

Called my harbor freight.. They said no can do because it says on the coupon one per customer per day. Specifically told them that they were different coupon numbers and still no dice

My Harbor Freight is also starting to point out the "Original coupon must be presented" statement. So far, they've gone ahead and given the discount each time, but I'm afraid printing out the coupons might be coming to an end soon. At least at my closest store.

I really doubt very much that a company like HF has not heard of GJ.
I'm almost sure that they have somebody or a few somebodies check
up on this site. Maybe they're even members; just don't want it known ;)
Might get hit with more complaints than compliments. :D
