I gotta say, their Social medial customer service is pretty great. I posted this pic on their FB page, and withing 20 or 30 minutes had a reply telling me to email them, and I did, I just received a call from them stating they would ship out a new one ASAP and refund my shipping. I even told her it was just a free add on item and I wasn't too worried about it but she said that didn't matter to her. thumbs up HF

Ha figures. I know from personal experience though, that big companies actually have people look for their name on Facebook. A previous employer terminated a coworker due to things she posted on Facebook in uniform and mentioning their name. I always figured they just studied their coworkers

Yep, they're really quick and making things right, but a little more time spent in quality control would probably stop a lot of these problems LOL.

So...your magnetic parts tray wasn't so magnetic LOL.

If your within the return period and a coupon comes out just take the coupon in with your receipt and they'll match the coupon price and refund the difference. For those of you worried that a coupon will come out the week after you buy.

Don't know who drove over that one, but I love those HF magnetic trays. I usually buy a couple when they go on sale. I keep about 8 on the columns of my lift and a few more on my tool box. I had a couple crafstman ones that fell apart. The HF ones have a better magnet than the crafstman ones to boot.

I bought 2 of the 14ft tow chains, they put them in the box with the parts tray and a few other items. Thankfully the tray was the only casualty, lol

I've had mine for a couple of years I think it was an Inside Track coupon I used. Good unit for low RPM uses. I have used mine for restoring head lights. The pads don't last.

That's actually my exact intentions for it, have some headlights that need love. I'm just hoping I can save a few buck, I already ordered some pads off amazon

Anyone else find it hilarious that people buy harbor freight coupons on ebay. I saw a coupon for the 56" lower cabinet go for over $80

I saw a coupon for a toolbox go over $3000, it doesn't even make sense. The toolbox didn't cost half that.

Most of the time these people don't realize it's a coupon. Now the the $3000 one. They were on crack. Or at least used to be.

Sales of valueless objects (hf coupons) on ebay are all about money laundering and most of those transactions have nothing to do with the coupon item.

Sale prices + 20% coupons might get some good deals

clearance-sale-pg-hdr020315.jpg

Just got this email from HF. The coupons it included were nothing special, but for those folks who don't live far from a store, might be a good weekend to take the wife and kids each armed with a 20% coupon and do a little shopping. Don't forget to go to leftyz page and print out a bunch of free stuff coupons to take along. (www.hfqpdb.com)

I've found recently that 20% plus sale price is about as low as anything goes.(not always)

If you're after something specific, check the online price to see what the weekend sale price is.
They won't let you use double coupons, but you can use 20% coupons on "sale" items.

Could be someone just messing with the seller and has no intention of actually paying for it. Unfortunately there's no way to see if the transaction was ever actually completed. When ebay cancels a transaction for non-payment or any other cause it just totally disappears.
