One other thing i also heard about 2 months ago from an employee was that Harbor Freight was coming out with a new updated cordless tool line. I guess it is supposed to be a lot better from what they are offering now. If you don't mind, can you try to verify this as well for us?

Anyway, no, there is not currently any word on a new cordless line. HFT did (somewhat) recently hire a new quality control person (formerly of Dewalt) for the power tool division. Chances are good that this is what caused that rumor to get started.

I just bought one on "sale" at $199 and used the 20% coupon. It ended up costing $159ish + tax. I don't recall ever seeing a coupon that brought it lower than that, so the 20% coupon is probably going to be your best bet.

I haven't fueled it up yet. I hope it works as well some folks say it does

You can only use one per transaction. Other than that they just work for me. What coupon are you trying to use? Do you have another item in your cart first?

Yep, had several items and added the free with purchase item (sissors) last after the 20% off coupon.

I just tested it by adding 2 pair of scissors, added coupon code 68021489 and it set the price of one set to free. Try adding the free coupon before the 20%.

Is the 20% maybe not applying to another item? (in other words do you have a coupon for EVERY item in your cart? you can't stack them!)
