Just a note.
My local store is getting picky about printed coupons depending on the clerk.
But they gladly accept coupons on your phone or pad, as long as they can read the number. Then they punch it in.
So I bring up the website with all the coupons and scroll to the ones I want.

It doesn't seem to matter that they are obvious copies that are all crooked and from scans and not digital origin.
So if you have a printed coupon, just photo it or scan it. And show them the digital result.
I also keep a paper backup as well as a list of codes.
I try a code first, then the one on the phone or pad, and finally the paper one. I keep originals as a last resort.
Bringing up their website or bringing their flyers or coupons they hand out would also work.
For original coupons, I stop at auto repair and tire shops and check the magazines in their waiting rooms.
