I go to Harbor Freight almost daily. There is nothing here I see that is one hella of deal. They play the same tune over and over about the parking lot sale. These are the same prices that you see in the two page ad you get in your mail. When you use the %off coupon off the shelf price is same price. You can't use coupons on parking lot sales. At least not at my store...

I'm messing with you, it's your hard earned money, do whatever you want with it. I'm just saying, I came from a 26" Craftsman stack to the 44" and if you have the money, it's well worth it.
sorry guys for not looking good, but what was/is the 26" tool box sale price.
Used to get it for $300.00

EDIT
here is this posted again.

just a heads up.... 20% off works on the 25" breaker bar even though it's a parking lot sale item

I'm hunting for a long reach low profile jack coupon. Anyone have something better than the $129 coupon? I recall a $99 one but that was quite some time ago.

I've had mine for 2 years or so and haven't seen it cheaper than the $129. Damn good floor jack.

Have you guys noticed recently that prices have been creeping up lately at harbor freight... and coupon use is getting stricter.... Whats going on....Is it that people are starting to buy more HF tools and they think they have enough market share to start increasing prices...enough so to compete with craftsman, husky and others...

just like KIA and Hyundai cars....they are almost same as quality Japanese cars...???

I believe HF is in a conundrum, a while ago they started aggressive promotions to generate more walk ins and it really worked (too well); now they have the same problem as JC Penny who also did the same thing: HF and coupons are seen as the defacto.

HF has more than succeeded in promotions and they would love to cut it down drastically to increase profits but the problem is they can't. Everyone now identifies HF and discount coupons as the norm.

JC Penny tried to eliminate there coupon program and almost went bankrupt while doing so because everyone stop going. I'm sure HF is very aware of this and seeing what they can get rid of and what discounting they have to continue or bring back to keep their core customers to keep returning. It's all about about keeping up the volume.

Plus, how many people are willing to pay more for HF quality? They are some HF gems but I think we all have experienced product failures and inferior items which are offset by deep discounts.

Prices go up as the price of materials to make the products increases. Doesn't matter where the product comes from, materials cost goes up as well as cost of delivery due to rising fuel, maintenance, and wages goes up as a result it all trickles down to the final product cost on the store shelves.

Coupon or no coupon the prices will continue to climb as the above mentioned reasons continue to climb. I think the reason coupons are starting to become more strict is due to all of the fake ones that have somehow managed to get through in the past have caused HF to have to change their coupon practices and rules. Which is one reason they now have limits on them, as well as the lack of the 25% off coupons and the lack of coupons for % of total purchase. They used to have free shipping coupons and I see those have disappeared in recent years as well.

if it were not for coupons I'd go once a year rather than every month.
I have 5 free tape measures, 6 free multi meters and plan to get more.

I finally have a need to go to HF (I need to bend some 1/2" copper) but I don't have a 25% off coupon currently. If you have a spare, could you possible PM it to me? Much appreciated, thanks.
