Actually $127.99 for the parking lot sale this weekend,

TRUE! Down to $127.99 but I "may" hold out until the spring to buy this impact gun and hopefully it gets down to the "under $100 price"........ There was a $20 coupon code floating around back in late November (Black Friday???) that could have been used for this and I should have grabbed it then because the price was around $79~.
I saw this on a November 28, 2016 thread here...... Did anyone grab one back then at this price??

Not too familiar with HF but I wanted to get their 8 in drill press. What is the cheapest option for this? Is there a coupon? Or do I wait for 25% off?

On Cyber Monday they had it for one day for $99 and I picked one up. After I got home I noticed the coupon listed in the thread here for another $20 off but I couldn't get back to the store to use it. I was pretty happy with the $99 price. You really will need to be on your toes to get it at that $79 price again if it ever comes back at that price.

You didn't get the XT model for $99. It has never been that low and here is the 2016 Cyber Monday ad

I really do not know what would cause you to so wrongfully callout another member of the forum as a liar. Below is the screen shot from the Harbor Freight website on Cyber Monday advertising the Earthquake XT for $99.

Please refer to the below link where this deal was discussed on this board on cyber Monday.

http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=335175&highlight=earthquake&page=4

I would upload the receipt for you as well but it is a pain to redact the confidential information and you are totally discredited by the above details and experiences of others who also bought the Earthquake XT for $99 on cyber Monday.

Just a "fun" story to share.

Today I go into a new HF nearby my hometown. I grabbed about 8 free items that are NPR and walk up to the counter.

Guy behind the counter says to me. 1 item per day/person BUT I'll let you use your coupons because "you're cute". I'm a married man so I'm a little unnerved by this statement but I let it slide.

The transaction is complete and as I walk away he says. "I love you!".

:shocking:

Anyway thanks to leftyz. Guy is a superhero in my world.

I think if I was a cashier I would have to screw with my customers as well, especially those who want lots of free things.

I swung by HF today just to get a freebie since I was passing by. The guy checking out in front of me bought a TON of stuff... The 12" compound sliding miter saw, like an 8 gallon air compressor, paint stuff, nailer, saw horses I think, and more. Literally two shopping carts, plus the compressor.

I'm pretty sure all he used was a single 20% off coupon!!! He already stuck his card in the machine to pay but all that was on the counter was that one little piece of paper. Seriously I know the compressor always has coupons, the saw does too, probably the paint sprayer, then he could have also used the 20% off on something else...

I guess that is how they make their money...

I would have helped him since I already had the coupon DB open on my phone, but like I said as I walked up he was already paying. :(

I showed a lady (and her mom) a cheaper LED alternative to what she was looking at in HD. The cost difference was like $15 per bulb, and she was buying older technology. She didn't think the "other brand" would work, and went on to buy 10 bulbs like that... while I collected my jaw off the floor. :eyecrazy: Handy-mans dream over at that household

Good for you for at least wanting to help.

As I go on in life, I have come to find out that people don't like to be helped regardless of what it may be. They must first be wanting to help themselves and if they don't do that, there's no point.

I've had a few situations, such as a mother with her young son looking at car batteries, where they appreciated me telling them Walmart was cheaper, but for the most part they aren't thankful and want to be left alone.

Yeah, I try to pick & choose my moments. Like you said, most people just want to be left alone.

There are times at HF when I'm getting a couple little things the person behind me says, "Oh man I forgot my coupons" and the checkout lady lets them use my % off & freebie... lol.

Also one time at HD I saw some guys looking at clearance stuff in the middle of the store, and I asked them if they knew of the "other" clearance section in the very back of the store. To which they said they didn't (I don't think many do, it's behind all the bath fixtures against the back wall in my store) and they were thankful for that info.

x2. Same people that prob complain things are so expensive, always have to wait till they get paid to make a purchase. About as educated on everyday things (no school needed just effort) as a rock sinking into the ocean. They create their own hard life!

A few months back I asked about coupon and/or the best price on the $24.99 #96737...

The 4 ft. 12 Outlet Metal Power Strip.

So I see there is a current coupon for a $17.99 at the website/catalog exp. 1/31/17
Just to note it is also an in store purchase only.

I had an HF cashier help me out the other day when I did not have any coupons and could not get my pos phone to pull up the online ones.

As it turned out the two items I was purchasing were already on a pretty decent 'sale'.

Cashier asks me if I had any coupons and I replied that I did not. He rings everything up and then reaches down below the register where there was a trash can with a crumpled sale flyer in it. "Oh look, a customer must have forgot their coupon" So I got the 20% off as well.

Does anything stack with that discount?

I was comparing the HF unit to the Milwaukee 46" bottom, as a possible alternative to well the Milwaukee bottom to go with the top I just got. 2" wider, but better than being narrower. I'll have to take a look in-store to see, but...

when looking at it on HF's site, it is the same price. I think they will match the online price and still use the 20%. I am hoping so, as I probably would bite the bullet on it.

You can stack all your coupons in a neat little pile on top of it after paying $339.99

Unless you get a managers special at a parking lot sale I doubt you'll ever get it cheaper.

No coupon code, but the 5 drawer red tool cart is listed at $149 in a flyer I got today at HF for an upcoming Parking Lot Sale on 10/11/12 March.

I've taken an interest in this recently, and this beats the best price I've seen up until now of $159.

Unfortunately, I will be away the 10/11/12.

Anyone know what the normal cycle is for most items with a coupon? Like, it had a coupon that expired last month, it'll probably be back in a month, 3 months, 6 months?

A thread here got me hooked on building a cabinet for the storage bins, but I procrastinated and missed the use of the cabinet. I need 20-30 of the medium bins storage boxes, so finding a coupon would be significant.

Anyone have one of the Pittsburgh 3-ton Fast Pump Low-Profile jacks?

Both of my 10+ y/o Craftsman ones are wearing out, and I'd love a low-profile one.

I have that 3 ton low profile jack, it works great on my 3/4 ton suburban, very easy lifting it up. As well as using it on my brothers Pontiac Grand am under the control arm
