They will probably take a printed copy of even off your phone.
I think they always say that.
I ration that if the code works on line, what should be the difference to the cashier?

for sure, and my HF is a GOOD hour away!
Not like a lot of people who can swing by every day. :(

:beer::beer: Good to know!
Thankfully they opened a store closer in the past few years, even though it's only about 5 or so minutes away., still ***** to have to sit there and debate whether to buy one box of gloves and wait until I go out for something else to stop by HF again over or pay 25% more for for them. Good way to lose sales on their part. Hopefully they make it a regular coupon now.

me said:
Just to be clear, it's up to 5 items if they total up to under $10. Say like three $.99 items and a couple at $2.99 each, then OK 30% off the total.

It's not 5 items each under $10. If the second item puts you over $10 then it's going to be 30% off of what ever the highest item priced under $10 is. My plan for loading up on grommets and hardware at 30% off is going to require multiple visits to perhaps multiple stores.

This is incorrect, each of the 5 items can be up to $9.99

Well, I'll give it a try, I did try online and it only worked on one item, however I now read the fine print and it says "Valid in store only" ...so perhaps that was my problem. I'll go back and edit my post.

Thanks leftyz !

any chance of Braun led light going down to 20 dollars like before???
cheapest I see lately has been $25... I am talking about the one that is compared to the Astro light. I have one bought at $19 long time ago. Looking to buy more. The light works great when working on car, fits in between small gasp, any degree turn and strong magnet.

Just got home from HF where I picked up a farm jack (20% off) and a magnetic strip. Reason for posting is to say that there were about 10 employees walking about tell store helping people, with about 7 of them being younger females. They all seemed noticeably happy to be there. A complete 180 from my experiences at HD and Sears (and my Snap On dealer :)).

Maybe it's the older stores but the new to me one less than 3 years now is clean, well lit and there is plenty of employees about everytime I go there,

I figure this store is less than 10,000 sq. ft total and so is there only two checkout and return registers. One is always open and if the line gets more than 4-5 deep they quickly open the second one I have to say I more often wait longer in the grocery market.

Of course there's totally no use in mentioning how the local Walmart being 20x the size only operates with 3 out 20 registers

I think they are going through and updating stores as well. The one I usually go to was reorganized and changed around. Its nicer this way and seems better lit than before. They didnt add any lights, but the new layout seems to allow for better light situation. Plus they had a few more employees in the store as well. I am wondering since they now have better lines of tools and with Sears on its deathbed and Craftsman being **** right now, if they are trying to be better than before to get more traffic.

Check back in a week or three at www.hfqpdb.com. Last coupon at $94.99 listed there expired just a week ago on 3/31/2019. IIRC they have offer to sell stuff at the "regular" prices for a certain amount of time in order to legally claim coupon prices save you money.

Thoughts on combining these for a super deal on the 5 drawer rolling cart?

You also can't use 20% off for the items in the sale flyer (read the fine print at the bottom of the flyer)

I don't have the actual flyer in front of me, but ...
Doesn't the coupon say "Not valid on prior purchases."? Doesn't the coupon say "Not valid on prior purchases."? I've never seen or at least noticed a flyer say that 20% off coupons were not valid on stuff in the flyer. I think just the wording on the coupon is the limiting factor of use of the coupon...and it is limiting enough.
It's a "3 day sale" just like a parking lot sale, the fine print at the bottom of the flyer basically states "Percentage off coupons do not apply to sale items in this flyer"

You usually can't use the 20% on anything that is on sale below its regular price.

I think if it's just "on sale" you can use the 20-25% coupons, but sometimes we mix up "on sale" with "sale price with coupon" obviously if you have a coupon for a specific item then you can't also use the percent off coupon.

For instance a three piece locking pliers set is normally* $14.99 but now available for $8.99 (no coupon needed for the $8.99 price). I put the set in the cart along with a cheaper item and applied the 20% coupon and it lowered the pliers set price to $7.19. Now the confusion comes in that *normally stuff is always on sale so how often does the locking plier set actually sell for $14.99? I don't know.

*normal/regular price seems to be whatever HF says it is because a lot of stuff is always on sale.

is it just me, or has the value of HF gone down a lot recently?

there are a lot more in house brands now, and they are never on sale, and they seem to be a lot more expensive than what they replaced (and are likely a whole lot better, at least I hope). the price difference against other brands seems to be shrinking dramatically. . . . .

It's a GOOD, BETTER, BEST game plan of choices they seem to be instituting now.

But at present they still have a good majority of original "value products" if that's what your looking for. :lol_hitti

HaHa. I just got the same email and coupon. My thoughts were exactly the same. They could have at least done a 25%...
