Is it just me or has Harbor Freight cut back on the number of free items? I used to pick between 3 or 4 free coupon items when I went there. I just checked the www.hfqpdb.com and I only see 1 free coupon.

That might be the last one ever after it expires. Raised prices,20% coupon greatly limited, no more printed coupons in the newspaper. It's like they think they're a real tool store or something.

Holy cow, I sure hope it's temporary! Of course this would happen, I've been planning to buy a 72" here in the next month or two. :sad:

Even their 5 drawer tool cart is now $350!

Tariffs and Corona had to have an impact at some time. I don't think any business would just want to drive up prices and lose a substantial portion of its customers unless it was forced to do so by factors beyond its control.

Still currently $189.99 with coupon...

You're now would be buying a $350 cart for $189 instead of a $230 cart for $190! HF might even claim that you are saving an additional $120 that you should use to buy more tools. :dunno:

I kind of expected it to happen eventually. But didn't they (the owner) guarantee that they wouldn't raise any of their prices while this pandemic was going on? Must have changed their minds...

Yes but I they have a sale every 3 to 6 months (or used to). I used to know the formula but stopped paying attention after I bought my 72 inch. If you check out the monthly digital catalogs it will probably come up in November again, that or they got smart enough to stop them and start doing discounts on the brand they are really trying to push. I think it's unfortunate they did not focus in making the US Gen brand their primary push and focused on a whole new brand (Icon)... It would have gained them a bigger sales boon to have a 1500 dollar version of the 72 inch that had a stainless top and a built in power drawer, and then maybe have a 300 to 400 dollar hutch you could add on to it... Oh well, hopefully they will figure out their issues before they have to file for bankruptcy because of their mistakes... I do like their idea of good, better, best, but they did not need such a huge endeavor as a new tool line and such a huge price gap to try and make it work.

Thanks for posting. At my store they didn’t care about the 5 item limit so I got a bunch of stuff.

Hard to imagine a better value than a wide 48” aluminum ruler for $3.49 after coupon. Just a steal.

Hey ya or nay on using a 20% off coupon for the "Haul Master" branded Drywall panel Hoist?

Went to get one today out of stock (but that's another story). One clerk said I could use the percentage off coupon, but a second said no I could not.

Not seeing it by brand name in the exclusions.

Also not finding any valid coupon at the present time

20% off (16280135) works online(test it and see) so it will work in the store. The only time there is an exclusion is during a Parking Lot Sale if the item is included in the sale.

The first clerk is correct, you can use a percent off coupon.

Was hoping for a good deal on a new tool chest, but 15% off equates to the same or higher price as the usual coupons. Would be an OK deal if you were already inside track but I'm not.

Just picked up an 8” bench grinder I’ve had my eye on for awhile. It was on clearance for $45 so the extra 20% off made it a no brainer.

If you sign up for the 1-year membership ($30) and buy the 72" tool chest ($1199) that brings the total to $989 after adding in the membership fee, so its still $10 less than any coupon has ever been. Then if you buy a top box or ANYTHING else also using the 20% off coupon its just money back into your pocket.

This is something I'm heavily considering right now.

Not really a deal, but I just noticed Harbor Freight FINALLY shows in store inventory on the website! Doesn't give a specific count (just Available, Limited Stock, or Out of Stock), but it does let you check near by stores as well. It also looks like it only updates the status once per day (at 4:30am PT), but hey, it's a start.

Correct... but most of the stuff is back to regular pricing... so no real savings at all...

I just got a 10'x20' canopy... we usually buy it for 99.99. Well, it was at 119.99 now and with the 15% discount came out to 101.99 before taxes... :lol_hitti

But we needed it... we buy these every other year for the boat... cheaper to buy the whole thing than just the replacement cover.

I stopped yesterday to get a 26” roller cabinet. They didn’t have red in stock, but said they expected one on Monday nights truck. Worst case, I’ll have by the 25th. I’m in no hurry, so either is fine.

I just asked about using the 15% off coupon if I prepaid. The clerk whipped out the 20% ITC coupon by the register and scanned it for me. I don’t know why. Maybe just being nice to the guy saved me an extra $15.

Didn't work for the ultrasonic cleaner. :(

I won this gem off a police auction in Texas. They say it's been stored for several years in an uncontrolled climate room, so was hoping the ultrasonic cleaner would simplify its cleanup.

20% off everything for ITC members clearly says "In-store only". The 15% off (56660718) coupon for everyone does work online. I tested it just now.

I'm in the market for a 44" box too, but it doesn't look like there are any current coupons. That one above has all the usual exclusions and won't work. Here's hoping they have a good black friday deal
