Not sure about anyone else but if you're making any purchases DOUBLE CHECK prices. The last 2-3 trips my ITC member discount has NOT been coming off automatically I have to keep telling them that it's an ITC and they have to look it up and do it manually. Even for the current 10%/20% I had to argue with the guy that I should be getting 20% not just 10%. Lol on top of that I didn't even get 10% until I spoke up....

My brother had the same problem when we went a couple of weeks ago. The cashier said it took it off when I spoke up. Once we got home he didn't even get the 10% on 2 of the items. It was their loss because rather than messing with it I just returned the items a few days later.

A question to the wizards out there who have the HF coupons figured out...I'm looking to add a US General 56" upper tool box, 56114 in Red, to my rolling base. What's the best approach to getting this for a better price than the listed $499.99? I see 10% off show up, with an occasional 20% off. With my schedule, I always seem to be too late! Any suggestions from those who play this game? I'm patient, BTW...probably too patient! Thanks!

I'm seeing these 20% off until 3/1 if I join the ITC.

Is $184 about as good as it gets for the yellow Daytona super duty jack?

Looks like $230 less 20% no exclusions. Trying to put my ITC membership to work here.

I would suggest signing up for ITC and get the 20% off as it will save you another $49.99 which more than covers the 1 yr and also 2 yr ITC options. Even if you just get the 1yr ITC at 29.99 you'll save an extra $20 over not joining ITC and only getting 10% off.

Since June of 2020, the best coupon (per HF Coupon Database) on the yellow Daytona was $199.99. Early 2020 was last time they had it down to $179.

Again, I'm not saying they are great coupons, but they are coupons. So coupons are not gone just yet, but they do seem to be more perishable than ones in the past as I just received this magazine and these
expire 3-17-2021.

I was told by the cashier at my store HF had a change in there system and you have to tell the cashier every time that you are an ITC member unless you have an ITC coupon.

Yeah, any coupon that only works on low dollar items is pretty useless IMO. If I made it to the store and forgot my 20% coupon, but was only buying a $10 item, it cost me more in gas to go home and get the coupon. If it was a $400 item, then I'd care more.

I don't understand this sentiment TBH. They have A LOT of under $10 items that are very useful, and the 30% off brings them below their best coupon cost, plus many of those items never have another coupon. For example the bremen locking pliers (which are easily as quality as irwins/kobalts/husky's) and lots of their organization stuff. I have gotten a large amount of stuff withe these 30% off under $10 coupons such as their socket organizer trays, magnetic paper towel holder, moving blankets, clamps, pliers, wire brushes, and many more items. This coupon is hella useful. PLUS it can be applied to 5 items instead of the single item 20% coupons.

Second, the coupon is literally linked digitally 3 posts up and you can just show them the picture on your phone, so the idea that you have to drive home to get a paper coupon has not made sense for YEARS as they have always accepted the digital images or even just the coupon code.

Agreed. I need to stock up on some blue shop towel refills. For $7 with the coupon, I think they are a very good deal. Also, great time to pick up misc. hardware and consumables.

The 5 drawer black trim kit is $9.99 - a good alternative for the 30% off.
(Trim to fit.)

Was kind of wondering that. Is it a long roll that you cut pieces off of? Or is it a bunch of short strips that are close but need trimmed a little?

This picture from the reviews makes it seem as if the pieces are already cut but not to size. The kit comes with 2 large strips so maybe the only way to go is to buy 4 sets and use the 8 long strips. With the 30% off, you're looking at $28 before tax.

Actually the best info would be how long are all the pieces?

Plastic or metal?

Monday March 8th - March 11th 10% off, no exclusions. Also choice of a free gift with any purchase.

The continued availability of percent off and free coupons seems to contradict the rumors from those who need to drive traffic to their sites that there will be no more coupons.

It seems only the printed flyers have been discontinued, and that was confirmed by HF.

Glad to see they are offering even better coupons, took advantage of the 30% off coupon.

The instant savings on most things are actually around 10% off. It’s really disappointing.

I hear ya. I wish they were a bit better but those telescoping and muilt-angle ladders for $99 is a good deal when compared to the competitors. I need a ladder and I'm deciding which one to get, but it will definitely be from HF with that discount.

anyone else with ITC membership NOT automatically receiving their discounts?

I got the membership a few months back (around Jan) and EVERY time I've made a purchase knowing the item was on sale, they rang me up full price even. This is while giving my phone number and every time they manually have to input the coupon and every time they aren't even aware of it until I argue with them to check. This has applied to specific item coupons, the special coupons where members receive more discount, and the one where the **% applies to items up to $20 instead of the lower amount.

on top of that all these "coupon emails" are complete more marketing then actual "sales"

end rant/
