New 20% off coupon this weekend, lots of exclusions, though.

Was stoked to see this but they excluded Central Machinery. Damn.

I'm looking to buy one of their Corded 12 Amp Portable Electric Pipe Threader and would love to get it for less than the $200

They've excluded Central Machinery from their 20-25% coupons for a few years now. But if the manager is cool, I've gotten the discount asking nicely for CM items that aren't actually machinery. That pipe threader might not fly though.

But who knows now that the 20% coupons aren't always available anymore.

Same here, who woulda thought HF would end their coupons. Been using their coupons for like 20 yrs.
Fortunately they have not ended their coupons. Another 20% coupon this weekend, as posted in this thread.

Any one single item, with all those exclusions. There isnt much left worth buying. Doyle comes to mind, and maybe berman, but still 2 or 3 bucks tops. Ugh. Kind of a bummer...

It is good for toolbox accessories though - magnetic trays, tool organization, etc. I need to revisit my disorganization again, so might be helpful.

I'm going tomorrow to grab the porta power kit with this coupon. Will be the first time I've been since they ended the regular 20% promos. Hopefully they see a huge uptick in sales this weekend and reconsider this new direction. Without a coupon there isn't much reason to go back.

I joined the ITC club a few months ago because they had a 20% off coupon with no exclusions. How do I get another coupon like that? I could use another tool box!

they had the 36x 2" chip brushes for sale by me at <$11. planned on using the 20% but it didn't apply since it was "clearance". Not sure if thats a new strategy or what, but they're still WAY cheaper than anywhere else so i grabbed a box. Also grabbed the 12x 3" chip brushes for <$6.

sometimes its nice having **** brushes around, use and toss

I think they are only doing those unrestricted coupons a couple times a year, if that. I have not joined ITC - no really big purchases in the immediate future, although they do have the 2 ton engine hoist for $50 off for ITC right now. My old one went missing, but realistically I am several months from needing one and don't have the room right now anyway.

I picked up some S-wrenches and double deep offset wrenches with the coupon yesterday - figured they would do for my needs with some upcoming engine repair.

They did have their speeder handles on clearance, so I grabbed one of each to add to the box.

Feels a bit strange checking out at HF and NOT scrolling through my phone and pulling up a 20% off coupon... Ahh those were the good times ;)

Took it for granted all these years. Wish I picked up a few things before realizing they stopped the coupon business

Also for some of the comments above - if I remember, the routine % off coupons always had some of the same exclusions - Central Machinery, some or most of their 'brands', toolboxes, etc.

Not during the "glory days" when there were virtually no restrictions, an item was actually on sale from it's normal price and you could stack the 20% off on top of that. Those were the days. :see:

Not so much a coupon question and I really couldn't find any relevant info on this question.

We have a store that will be opening near me supposedly in July. When new stores open do they have any good deals? Door buster stuff? % off stuff opening day? Or do they do nothing special for a grand openings?

I don't get much from there as a norm, but I am in the market for a couple of boxes for the home garage. My 65" CM hasn't cut it for a long time and stuff is piling up in drawers and around it. A 56 top and bottom and a 44 bottom are on the wish list.

Not really. We just have a store open here last month. Other than including it on an email listing the new store locations there are no deals anymore.

Accoding to the HF app, ITC 10% no exclusions for the 4th of July weekend.

I did not see this included/listed on the website yet for some reason.

Tried to link it but it's not working. Click on Members-Only Deals and you should see it

That is a pretty good list of exclusions for a no exclusions coupon.
I'll bash many things about HF all day, but those "exclusion" aren't really exclusions. I don't see any product lines or brands there, just basically no doubling up on discounts or applying to their extended warranty. Basically you have to pay full price for the extended if you want more than the standard ****** 90 day warranty. See, I told you I'll bash them all day long, just not for the exclusions on that coupon. LOL

You are way overthinking this. It’s just funny, ‘No Exclusions’, then a list of exclusions, ‘you can’t use it for …’ See, if it was really no exclusions, then they wouldn’t have a list of exclusions.

Meh. It's better than nothing, but you'll have to spend 300 just to get your money back from the reward program. Unfortunately, 10% just covers tax around here. Like I said, better than nothing. If it were 20%, I'd be ordering a "72 box.

This weekend I'll be ordering a 56 bottom, 56 top, and a 44 bottom...all on different day. Thank you "no exclusions". 10% isn't much, but it'll save me plenty to justify an ITC membership. Won't save a lot after taxes, but enough to make me happy.

Now...the shipping dates are out there a ways which *****, but it is what it is. Maybe my wife won't notice as they trickle in between now and Christmas. Going from 1x black 65"x18" CM box to 3x red boxes taking up 100". She may not be amused.

Looks like the discount is for ITC members only on Wed & Thurs... and then for everyone Fri thru Mon.
That's what I initially thought when I saw the ad dates and how they have it listed, but the fine print in the "no exclusions" part states "Valid In-Store Only for existing and new Inside Track Club Members" (shown on the app website ad) and a bit further down "Valid 6/30/21 thru 7/5/21. Active Inside Track Club membership required."(shown on the app) There is a bit more of an explanation of the sale and "no exclusions" exclusions posted on the app than what I can find on the website, including that this coupon is "RARE".

In either event, it won't matter to me. I plan on getting the membership anyway since over the last year I would have saved just enough for it to be worth it.

Yeah, I thought it was for ITC only, so no go for me. I don't have ITC, and don't have any big ticket purchases on the horizon either from HF. Most of what I get there these days are consumables, or the odd emergency tool I don't have for a specific repair. Last year I hardly bought anything, especially since the coupons dried up. Year before, just the 5 drawer cart and an ICON torque wrench, but both of those had coupons so ITC wouldn't have mattered.

The 3 lines of tiny letters at the bottom are all exclusions.
They are conditions for use, not exclusions, no brands or products are excluded from the coupon, that is why they say the coupon has no exclusions.

Yes, that might be funny if there were exclusions, but since the coupon has no exclusions, it is not. Note that there is nothing "you can't use it for", that would be an exclusion.

Many HF coupons do have exclusions, such as not valid on Bauer, etc.

You must not see where it says that it can’t be used for ITC membership, open box items, gift cards, etc. Those would be excluded from this deal. Jeez Louise!
