These coupons are a joke. I quit shopping there. The old coupons were what got me in the store where I bought other things. If I want cheap chinese tools, I just buy them on Amazon for the same prices.

They’re trying to go up market. It makes sense in theory. A lot of their fan base has grown older and advanced in their trade over the years.

The Icon stuff seems to be totally credible. Many of their pneumatic tools are good value (for some, it’s about the same price and quality as shopping around for a good price on an IR tool — the long barrel air hammer, for example).

I don't take issue with that. Yes, a lot of their newer items are of better quality. But the loss leader is what got me in the store where I spent even more on consumables, tarps, moving blankets and the like. Now, I don't even bother going there.

Does ITC still give out 2 keychain cards and a wallet card when you join? I was thinking of getting a couple buddies and we kick in 10 bucks each and then each take an ITC card. No one goes there much but it would be OK to have for $10, but not $30.

It would be easy enough to scan it into a cell phone or just tell them the ITC number. I don't know what I did with mine. When I make a purchase they enter my phone number and it find me in the system.

My ITC is setup through my phone # so if my dad, brother or friends go in and they know it's a ITC deal they give them my number and it emails me the receipt so I can see who used it that way as well.

Even if they don't, that is not an issue.
Download an App like MobiPocket (or similar) to your phone. These apps scan in the bar codes pf your loyalty cards and you show and scan that at the register. You don't need to carry any loyalty card with you at all.

As much as I've started to hate HF, I don't think there is any better value boxes out there than the US General. Just picked up a 44" blue to replace that black husky. It's an older husky and the drawer slides are terrible quality. Gonna pick up another 44" today to complete my work in progress chop saw station

PS- my local store is ****, NONE of the coupons automatically apply even though I'm an ITC member and they "done away with coupons" it's such ****. I'm constantly telling the workers to adjust prices or reminding them to apply the coupon... so many misleading things by this company

DrillMaster 4 1/2in angle grinders on clearance at my local store for $10.47.
Central Pneumatics deals too. 1/2in pressure regulator was about $10 too.
Purple tags galore in the store as the Old brands are getting phased out. Warrior, Admiral etc.

Recently cheked drawer for Craftsman at Lowes.
Also checked drawers in US General and Icon cabinets at Harbor Freight.

US General and Icon cabinets were much smoother.

Up to 5 items as it says on the coupon but some stores will apply it to more than 5. I haven't figured out how that works yet.

The store I usually go to will apply to more than 5 items when scanned everytime I have used that coupon but another store I went to last time that I rarely go to will only apply it the to 5 most expensive items that are under $10.

Yep, I've done that many times too over the years. But that also again depends on the store or should I say cashier. Coupons say one use per day and I've seen cashiers refuse people from using the same coupon again the same day even after walking out & getting back in line (with the same cashier).

As you said they're not linked to your account so the system won't actually reject it, it's the cashier if they remember your face & if they ain't nice. I just go to another store or the next day when I really need to.

I second this... This coupon seems too good to be true, especially when they've moved away from coupons to a yearly subscription (ITC).

Yes it worked. They had to enter it manually, but the manager said she saw them earlier and worked without the manual entry. Just used it on a $130 item.

I used the one I received in my email. The code at the bottom of the one posted is different than the one I received in my email. So it might really be a single use coupon.
