I bought two identical Daytona low profile jacks maybe two years ago. The green one won't lift past a certain point under a vehicle. It won't fall if I'm standing on it but can't lift a Camry tire off the ground anymore. Any point of trying to fix or just junk?

You may have to bleed the system The manual will have a bleeding procedure for trapped air

I added some fluid, but don't see any sign of leaks. What I've found is the piston on the right side goes down but doesn't come back up. There's a cage, a spring, a large flat washer and a keeper. I removed the handle, yoke and the right side spring assembly, cleaned and reassembled, still doesn't return up?

The metal cup probably has a dent and catches in the spring. My Daytona 4 ton did the same thing. I took it apart and I think I used a ball pein hammer to remove the dent at the end of the cup. After that it worked great again.

The piston that is stuck in the down position is the Power side, which is why it won’t lift a load, thus only working on the speed side. If it’s nothing externally with the shielding catching up, it could be something internal between the piston and the cylinder wall. The downfall of this newer style is the lack of guide to keep things centered and no matter how much grease they smear on the top end from the factory, it’s going to be susceptible to wear, which can cause binding. It’s one of things I noticed when I tore down the Daytona when it first came out.

Hopefully it’s a quick fix with the shield, if not elevate the rear, remove handle assembly and pull the stuck piston straight out for inspection.

Did you take the extended warranty ? The manager of the local store told me they replace them no questions asked if under warranty. Even if its close to expiring.
