Harbor Freight deals/sales/clearance thread

I saw the HF coupon thread but no regular sales thread. So happy with my latest tool run I thought I'd share.

I picked up the Braun flex head led flashlight for $24.99 at the Parking Lot Sale, today it the last day of this sale. They are always sold of these, pretty please I finally got one(3 haha).

The purple HVLP gun is still $12.99 not a 3 day sale price but still a really good deal, I can't wait to try it out.

I took a hard look at the Vulcan 220 welder on sale for $899. Thinking of selling both my millers and maybe picking this up and have some leftover cash to boot. I'll have to do some more research.

I love 80% of my har or freight tools but have had nothing but bad luck with almost everything electric I've ever bought there.
3 different corded drills over the years with very very minimal use. All of them stopped working after warranty and went in the trash looking like brand new.
I bought two different dc to ac converters to use for emergency backup if power ever went out. First one I bought and never even tried till one day the power was out and guess what? The damn thing didnt even work. Even with no load it was flashing alarm overload. It was out of warranty so I took it apart trying to find what the issue was With no luck.
A couple years later they had a smoking deal on a much bigger inverter and figured I'd give it a shot one more time. I wasted $89. That one didnt work either and started smoking the second I turned it on.
Never again will i buy anything electric from HF. Wrenches, hammers and floor jacks sure but just not worth the risk of wasting my time and money yet again on a very likely defective product.

Agreed on HF rep of buyer beware of anything cord/cordless power tools. But HF is making improvements in their tool offerings so things may be changing. The Vulcan welders competing with lower-end millers/lincoln market Vulcan welders with 1yr return/exchange warranties may be a sign of improvements at HF.
