Harbor Freight FINALLY Released a 72" Top Chest

I searched and hadn't seen this posted anywhere, but it looks like HF finally released a 72" Series 2 top chest to go with their 72" base cabinet. Much better than just having the 56" as an option......not sure on the price, but like they released it finally!

If the top area is as shallow as the 56 that is a whole lot of wasted space since sockets wont stand up if you want to close the lid

considering the 72” is 3/8” of an inch shorter, sure does look that way!

I just saw that a few days ago and had to back up and walk down the isle to make sure I was seeing what I thought I saw. $950 was the price I saw as well.

I slapped a 26 & 44 on top of my 72 roller. I liked the combination of the different drawer depths; lots of shallow ones on the 26 and deeper ones on the 44. Now it turns out that I saved my self a bunch of money too!

Looks like I’ll be buying a 72” top, and a 56” lower this next year to complete my tool storage setup.

I can always use more storage.
