Noticed this today while browsing around. I remember seeing somewhere that they were offered some time ago. Couldn't find it on their website, but it seems they are back. According to the picture it's a direct bolt on to at least the 5-Drawer Cart. Unfortunately there weren't any out of the box to play with though.

Item#: 62207
Dimensions: 18.25" x 16.875"
Area: 308 sq. in.
Price: $19.99 ($15.99 w/ -20% Coupon)

You could even mount those suckers on the wall next to drill presses or bench grinders etc and fold them away after working.I want one for my belt grinder. Time to make one.

Thanks for the tip. And its perfect timing as lately I have been thinking about making one but at that price I couldn't do it any cheaper. Now I hope its in stock at the local HF.

I think most people have got the Sunex shelf for theirs, if anyone would post what did you pay for it? Or any of the others really that have attached a different brand to the HF cart.

If these follow the build quality of the red cart and 44" boxes it will be a great value.

Just picked mine up from my local store, they had plenty in stock! Haven't put it together or on my cart yet but the box is pretty heavy.

Post up some pictures when you do. Dimensions of the bolting pattern would be awesome as well.

I thinking of getting this for my girlfriend's Father since he has a 5-Drawer cart. I have a pair of Kobalt one's on my Black 4-Drawer I got free, so I'm set there . . . humm what else needs a folding shelf? :lol_hitti

My store had just put them out when I went by tonight. Really like it, should work well. I'll put a mat on it just forgot to get one tonight. It mounts to the corner bolts on the cart so only takes a few minutes to install. Excuse my messy carport and the bad night pictures.

I wonder why this number OR the product description doesn't come up on the Harbor Freight Web site? I can't find any info on this?

I got the plastic one from Sears for around $20-25. It was half the price of the sunex one at the time. It would not allow the lid to close on the cart so I had to bolt it to the side so it does not fold. Fine with me though, I never fold them anyway.

I was about to say, "How do you move your cart with all those cans blocking the bottom?"

I slapped myself.

About 5 years ago I bought the Homak shelf from Northern Tool. Cost was about $40 and it came with a mat. Really nice shelf and after drilling a couple of holes it was easily attached to my Cman GripLatch rolling chest. But, in hindsight, I could have found a better use for $40!!

And, as kball said, I never fold it down.

Glad to hear the hands-on impressions are good. Also nice to see they are in stock across the country and not just some old stock the found in a warehouse around here.

Need to make it back out and pick one up for my girlfriend's father still. Hopefully mid-week. When I get my hands on one I'll post up some detailed pictures & measurements.

It's good they are back. I was just thinking about this recently, I tend to use the top of my 4 drawer to place things and need to get into the top... I have a craftsman box nearby that has a folding shelf, but I need more room.

Here's how I mounted mine. It does hang over roughly half inch on both sides, but it's livable for me with this cart. Holds stuff just fine and matches nearly perfectly.

Its made specifically for the 5 drawer cart sides, so if the 44 has similar bolt holes already I imagine it would. Can't say for sure since I don't own a 44.

I bought a 5 drawer cart today at my local HF down here in Southern Arizona and I really wanted to get that side shelf at the same time. However, they didn't have them in stock and the 62207 number didn't show up in their system.

I hope they are going to get them down my way eventually as its a great addition to a cart. Any other Arizonans see them in any HF's up north?

Just a heads up, bought one for my black tool chest the smaller version of the red 5-drawer.

It over hangs by an inch to the back or front if you want to use one set of pre-existing holes, if you drill out new holes you can center it right in the middle

Already did some mods on mine!

Masked off the top shelf and used the HF truck bed liner on the top, now it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb on my tool box, and it gives me a non slip surface to work on.

BTW the top of my tool box has the anti fatigue roll they sell glued to the top so I didn't ruin the finish and its also non slip, I need to wipe it down it has powder all over it.

They have a side shelf on display at my HF. I was looking and didn't like how easy it was to disengage it. Seemed like only the slightest upward motion will unhook it and send it crashing down. What if while you're stumbling to the refrigerator for another beer you bump into the shelf and it unfolds, it will scatter all your empty beer bottles on the floor.

Heck, I think I'm still getting one.

And the local HF store did have a carton of them in stock so I was able to snag one today.
I just got it installed and its a pretty damn nice addition to the tool cart.

I grabbed one last week. I still haven't installed it yet, too busy shoveling snow.
I was thinking about putting one on my toolbox, but I have too much hanging off it already.
