Harbor Freight framing nailer

I have a Harbor Freight framing nailer that shoots a couple nails at a time like stutters. Someone told me there are 2 different angles of nails you can buy. Is this true and what angle of nails it would take, or is that even the cause.

if you can find the sku number off the gun and check harborfreight web site they should have the manual in pdf if you do not still have it
my hf gun takes 28deg but i think there was anothe rone that took 24 or something

I have the adjustable HF gun. it shoots 3 different degrees of nails,31, 27, 23 or something like that. where the adjuster is to change the degrees its not quite on so you might have to fiddle with the screws to get it to shoot correctly. other than that it works pretty good for a $70 framing nailer.
