I have seen some nice jobs come from a cheap gun, and I have seen sh^^y jobs come from a cheap gun. I have seen sh^^ jobs come from a $700 gun. A paint gun isn't the only factor in laying down a good coat of paint, the prep before and after are what can make an 'OK' job to a 'WOW that is unbelievable' job. I myself have used similar guns to the HF gun and they do fine for awhile. I personally use Devilbiss guns for all my work but I still have a couple cheapies handy in case I may need to spray something I don't want to put through a $400 gun.

Huh, today is cheap paint job advice day. I've not only painted multiple motorcycles with HF gravity guns (regular size gun and the little purple touch up gun), but also my race car. I used Rustoleum on the bikes, and Brightside PU paint (unhardened) on the car. No need for the home hobbyist to blow $500 on a gun.

I use the hvlp model to spray lacquer on furniture does a nice job for that, cant say I painted a car with it.

The spray pattern is uniform and has a wide range of adjustment.

Nader, just wondering here....did you choose the Rustoleum and Brightside paints based on the '$50 paint job' threads floating around the internet? Where guys are using 50/50 thinned Rustoleum and a roller to paint their rides? Nice job on the bike and car btw...
