I'm eager to see that in person. It looks better than their standard wrinkle finish. I notice it doesn't have a set of wheels to stabilize the middle. It's Storehouse brand, not US General.

From the photo it looks a awful lot like a older KRL series......Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

It may just be my eyes. Or maybe my monitor or the pic. But those casters look a bit flimsy to me for the weight most of us would pile in it.

You guys must get much better sales around there than we do here. No way in hell you would pick up a snappy box that size for that price.

use a 20% coupon and it comes to $2960. Seems like a decent deal for a 6' long box. Of course I'd want to put my hands on it to feel the quality first.

not here, not in good shape. That mac I was looking at with few drawers for $2000 is a "steal" around here.

A used Snap-On like the HF one would go for nothing short of $6, most likely $7k.

I would be very wary of that setup... until someone here sees it in person and can verify the quality.

For $2k, there are a lot of other "known" options out there....

That is a good sized box, and $2k isn't a sale price, no telling what it could hit on sale combined with a discount coupon. I wonder if its going to be in stores?

StoreHouse seems to be the premium line for HF, but this kind of thing you can't judge without loading it up with tools and using it.

Specs below.

46,997 Cubic Inches of Storage Space
Heavy duty industrial steel cabinetry with internally welded joints for durability.

* Ball bearing slides on all drawers for easy opening
* Weight capacity: 150 lbs. 48" drawer; 70 lbs. all other drawers
* Two security locks and two keys included
* Nonslip drawer liners hold tools in place
* Heavy duty side handles
* Rocking handle latches keep drawers closed
* Rustproof powder coating
* Aluminum label slots on drawer handles
* Four 6" casters (two fixed, two swivel with brake)

Overall dimensions: 73.5" L x 29.3" W x 37.3" H
Weight: 881.1 lbs.

Looks exactly like the Torin, same drawer layout, load rating, but Torin says

72in.L x 29in.W x 46in.H

11" taller seems odd. I wonder what the weight is on the Torin?

That was my thought. $2K for the bottom, another $1.7K for the top. For $4K you can likely find a nice used SnapOn of the same size without crappy casters and drawers that actually open when loaded down.

When you find the equivelent SO for that let me know. However for that price I could see buy a nice Waterloo Magnum or Trax box.

I know I would never consider spending that sum of money on any box HF had to sell. As others have said I would do used or another brand for that kind of money.............heck, even for half that money I would go another way. Course I will never find out anyway cause I would have a rough time spending more than $1000.00 on any combo set regardless the brand!
