I'm impressed. :)

I have the Milwaukee electric one and wouldn't DARE put lug nuts on with it, as it will zip them to 300+ ft. lbs. in an instant. Off is great, but on is a PITA.

I learned not to use impacts on lug nuts, but the electric seems to be ok for heavy duty trucks. I make sure to use my torque wrench to set them to 100ftlbs.

Check your regulator on your "junk" compressor. Find out the recommended PSI for the impact. Adjust the regulator to the recommended PSI while the impact is running. To me it sounded like your regulator was only set around the 30PSI range, and the regulator on your neighbors was running a much Higher PSI.

If your compressor is working as designed it can handle that impact just fine, the tank will be at 125PSI until it drops below a certain amount, then the compressor will kick on to build it back up.

I doubled checked the regulator and made sure it was at 90psi. The wrench calls for 7 scfms and the compressor only goes to 5.3cfm. I might replace the regulator but I think the unit is just very limited in its use. Thanks for your advice.
