Do you mean the cabinet?

I've got one and it opens and closes just fine. The two shelves inside are adjustable. I like it fine. I got it on sale for $150 and used a 20% off coupon. (And I painted it a different shade of red.)

Just sold one. The only issue I had with it was it needs a magnetic catch to hold the door closed while unlocked. I kept a magnetic tray on my door with about a 1 inch overhang so when I closed the door the magnet would hold it in place. Other than that nice cabinet.

ive looked at the HF tall cabs as well. the one thing that turns me off to them is the crinkle paint.

if i needed a tall cab, i'd probably go for it.

i use a pair of smaller SO side boxes stacked up, and gain 3 small drawers in both of them.
i keep cased drills, timing light, and soldering guns in them.

I'm not sure how you would store extra bolts/nuts. You would have to get extra shelves or drawers no? It only comes with 2 drawers.
The part number for extra shelves is 12185 by the way.

i has big bin to hold it so it would be nice to put in locker than sitting on my "bench" toolbox workstation... i want more space than crowd on top of box..

i dont care about color or paint because all i has is red... so if it get dirty, that fine.. BUT if it is snap on locker then i would be pissed... BUT no way to spend thousands of dollars for just locker...

Got a link? That part number doesn't come up on their site.

i went to harbor freight today and i did play around with locker cabinet.. i like it but i wish it has more shelves included.. but no big deal as i am going to measure and cut the metal sheet to fit inside and i will need find a more clips to hold it...

i will bring it to my work in early morning and i will take a picture...

do i need bolt it in? i am going to mount it on my craftsman older model 40" wide toolbox.. if not then i can use small bolts and nuts to hold together...

bringing this back from the dead. did you ever figure out something to do to add shelves to the locker? I want to buy one of these lockers but only having 1 shelf seems very silly.

Tenchu, I *think* (but I would try to find some way to double check) that the shelves from the smaller end cabinet are the same shelves from the end locker. If that is the case, then you can order them by phone from the user manual for the end cabinet...you would be looking at part #2 on the diagram.

http://manuals.harborfreight.com/manuals/67000-67999/67436.pdf

I would call the tech support number and ask if the shelves would interchange. Good luck, and let us know what you find outv:thumbup:

I ordered and received 4 additional shelves by calling HF Customer Service. They were only about $10.00 each and shipping was only $10.00. Great DEAL! Took about a week to arrive..

if you are talking about snap on, mac, matco, waterloo, craftsman, etc- YES it is way overprice!!!

But i got US general locker cabinet for 159 dollars... hell it is better than over grands of dollars!!

I don't consider imports , I bought the snap on locker in 1997 for 1400 bucks ..it is built like a fortress

yep, you paid 1000 bucks for a snapon logo and 400 bucks for the cabinet lol.

i have no problem buying snapon tools, even their tool boxes are nice. but when you are talking a side cab, there is no reasion to have that high of a price. that HF unit looks great.
