Hi everyone,

I think I'm finally going to bite the bullet and buy a midrise lift.

I've read good reviews of the Bendpak midrise, MD-6xp. However, I've also read a lot of positive reviews of the blue Harbor Freight lift - the one that lifts approximately 56".

With a 20% coupon, I can get the HF lift for $1199 + $96 shipping. The Bendpak is $1955 with free shipping from Northern Tool. So the HF is about $650 cheaper...

I'm definitely leaning towards the HF - $650 is a huge price difference. The only clear advantages for the Bendpak are the slightly lower minimum height and the inclusion of the truck adapter kit (which would be nice to have ).

Does anyone have any thoughts?

Which has more safety features and is more stout? $650 is a pittance compared to getting crushed.
