I have bought from these guys online before without a problem. just got a package today with eight items bought and only five shipped. I could see a packing guy miising one, but how do you miss three? :eyecrazy: Has anyone else had this problem? I realize that this isn't Snap On, but damn. :confused:

My only experience was that it took fooorrreeevvveeerrr for my order to get to me. I swear, it was like it shipped straight from China. The order was about 12 small items, and it took two weeks to get to me, from order to delivery. But I had all of my items. Call and say what the hell guys! Mind you, hopefully whoever you get ahold of speaks English, and not Indian or Chinese.

I've had things arrive quicker FROM China, then from HF. Note, this was over a decade ago. I do buy from them on occasion still, but always in the store.

I realize that this isn't Snap On, but damn. :confused:

I've gotten the wrong items, mis-priced items, and the correct items with the sales invoice to someone elses order from snapon.com so it may very well be the same people. Maybe the HF facility is where they cut their teeth before moving up to snap-on.

What does the packing list say is in the box? It may be a box 1 of 2, or a back-order. If they give you a hard time, tell them to check the record of the actual package weight against what your order should have weighed. Lots of companies have algorithms to predict the box size needed and estimated final weight, and if either of these is not what is expected triggers a QA check.

The shipping receipt said one box. I called HF customer service twice and failed to talk to a rep. Then I emailed their parts department two days ago, without a response. I could see where there would maybe one item missing, but come on. While we all know that HF doesn't sell professional tools, at least run somewhat of a pro operation. I'm done buying from them online.

there is no store near you? try go into the store with the receipt and have to store manager call shipping department for you.

but yea, I also buy only in-store.

Yeah its hard to believe with all the idle time in a shipping dept etc. that two weeks before Christmas some packing/shipping error gets made.
