While on the way to deliver a tire machine to a customer, one of the dealer's boxes rolls against the pallet jack used to move the tire machine. Pallet jack is from Harbor Freight.

Harbor Freight Pallet Jack

Fast forward to 3:38 and then stop at 4:06 to see damage.

Viewer Comments:

Drew Murphy: "Are you using a Harbor Freight pallet jack??? I ask only because it looks identical to the ones we sell."

Haasl tools: "not sure, Came from a garage sale."

Yoseff G: "Ouch that’s like scratching a Mercedez , did the jack or pallet scratch it?"

Haasl tools: "strap came loose on the box and so it was banging into the jack."

I'm just curious, but what's the relevance of it being a HF pallet jack? Wouldn't the same thing have happened had it been a Dayton or Raymond?

A scratch doesn’t destroy a tool box and nobody said the pallet jack came from Harbor Freight, someone just asked if it did.

What part of the first post did you actually read? Between the thread title and post, "Harbor Freight pallet jack" is literally mentioned four times.

The damage is more than a scratch. If you stop the video and look at the damage, the left side of the box facing the camera has been creased in several spots along the bottom of the panel. I think it's a shame that it happened. :(

Ok so a pallet jack from somewhere else wouldn’t have damaged the tool box? If you read the comments on the video the guy says it came from a garage sale maybe I just pay too much attention.

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if harbor freight marketing has adapted part of the old Hollywood adage..

"The only thing worse than bad publicity, is no publicity!"

No doubt, more people are more aware of the harbor freight sells pallet jacks, probably at a lower price and most everybody else.

If there ever was an apples vs oranges thread....this is it. There is no relevance or irony here. Now if it were two tool boxes of the same size going at it....that would be fun. But it's not....so no dice

If it was actually a Harbor Freight pallet jack....look for another "Harbor Freight beats Snap On" in the next sales flyer.

Exactly. If the pallet jack had failed and dumped the box on its side we could blame the pallet jack. It seems to me the culprit is either the ratchet strap or the poor job positioning the tie downs.

But I guess bad tie down job isn't nearly the click bait quality as attempting to bad-mouth harbor freight. Worthless video, worthless thread.

Moving high value equipment:

Nothing goes down the road while on casters-block the piece up.
Nothing but nothing only gets a single strap-double up.
Furniture pads=cheap insurance, you need more than you think. No strap or buckle ever touches the equipment directly.
Learn to push a pallet jack- handle should be vertical- keeps you closer to the piece- you can reach out and steady it if needed.
Those two guys need to be schooled.

I rented a commercial pallet jack to move my Bridgeport across the driveway from my attached garage to my newly constructed new detached garage/shop awhile back.

The commercial pallet jack wasn't up to the task (it's in the background). Lifted it with a serious slope. Wouldn't trust it the 80 ft it had to go.

Went down and bought a new Harbor Freight pallet jack and it had no trouble moving the 2000lb Bridgeport. Note the masonite strips on the forks for anti-slip. Worked great.

Just sayin'.

Normally, a photo like this would have me jealous as all get out of your Bridgeport. Instead, Im in stunned silence that they stil make Marty McFly vests. No words, just jealousy.

And here I watched the video thinking the pallet jack would fail and drop or knock over a toolbox.....ruining it. Instead there is a little paint scratch and maybe slight crease that Dent Wizard could probably get out.

Very disappointed!

I dont see anything? clickbait junk

So, instead of irony, more like brand trolling.

Good times.

Someone take OP’s new thread posting privledges away!

I want my 5 minutes back

My apologies to all you guys that didn't see the entertainment value of this thread.

And I do realize that the word "Destroyed" was the wrong word to use. I should have used the word "Damaged" instead.

If there's anything that somebody can take out of this thread---- is make sure your box has no way to move while in transport.

For the rest of you guys that posted a screen shot of the box next to the pallet jack, good job! Very impressive editing skills.

Next UP: HF HULK vs all competitors and beats them all!

You could save a lot of time, and just link people to a single post you've made, instead of reposting the same comment over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

He made a new video. A close up view of the damage:

He even says "The strap came off......" The guy that caused the damage doesn't blame the HF pallet jack but the op does. SMH.

Maybe if the pallet jack was flimsier it would have been damaged and left the box pristine.

Maybe if the pallet jack wasn't there at all, the damage wouldn't have occurred. I blame the pallet jack.

He should have taken the tool box to where it was being delivered all by itself in the truck then unloaded the toolbox by driving in reverse with the doors open and slamming on the brakes. Then once the toolbox was unloaded he could have gone back to get the pallet jack to assist him with unloading the pallet jack........... errrrrr wait, that wouldn't work. :dunno:

I really hope you are just trying to be funny. The guy even admits in the video that he screwed the box up.
