Harbor Freight powder coat gun mods

Hi All,
I’ve searched this forum for this topic so if I missed it please point me to it.
I purchased a HF Powder Coat system and I like it over all but it, as you’ve probably heard, runs at times in fits and starts. I’ve googled it to death and the few threads I have found have pic links that are old and don’t work. So I thought I’d try my fellow garage guys. So I have just a few questions.

>Could any of you guys point me in the direction of some HF PC gun mods? With Pictures would be great. YouTube vids would also be great. Or possibly share your mods with me?

>Does anyone know how to get this triangular shaped piece (attached) out of the gun without breaking it? Doing some work on it is part of a mod thread I did find.

I'm not trying to be a ****.

Take it back, give it to someone you hate... Just stop.

I did all those mods, built hoppers... It still is awful. You won't get it to stop surging, and even if you manage to make it better, the dumb thing can't handle multiple coats, and it sure can't do faraday areas.

The Eastwood gun is bad too, but it's markedly less bad.
