I bought the 2500/2000 Predator the day before yesterday. I filled it up with 15W-40 oil and gas. I then slowly pulled the cord; it started on the 2nd slowwwwww pull. :giggle:

I got the 20% off due to be a Member.

The clerk said only two (2!) generators were returned after our cold spell a couple weeks ago. She said people must have figured out, they need to keep them.

I saw that but wasn’t sure if Predator is a brand I can depend on. I dislike wasting money on junk. I wonder how they compare to Champion?

I’ve deployed the Predator 3500 inverter generators to construction crews with good results. I bought the extended warranty on the first few and hadn’t filed a claim when they expired two years later. I still believe the Hondas are better, but for 1/3 the price I’m good with these.

We’ve had the 9000 watt Predator for about 4 years now. It gets used multiple times a year. Most recently it was used 4 days in a row, never shutting it off.
It will run the whole house minus the 220V stuff (stove, dryer, heat pump, water heater)

I am a Honda "fan boy" but I highly suggest if you don’t have the $$$ to buy a Honda these will give you power in an emergency situation……. Everyone needs a back up power source for power failures and these Predators are an affordable option and you can now save some money.

BTW! A NorEaster blizzard is forecasted for this weekend so I think these will be flying out of North East stores…….. "IF" they have some in stock.

Predator is a good engine/generator. My in laws put a lot of hours on the one they bought a few years ago. They take it camping a bunch and use it for power outages at home.
They are not built to out last a Honda but three of them probably will and at that point cost is the same and you get a new one with warranty every so many years.
