Harbor Freight question 5 drawer cart

So I guess i have not been to HF for a while. I got an email with a 25% off any single item, no exclusion coupon.

I am thinking about the 5 drawer 30 inch cart which would be $217.50 plus tax $13.05 so $230 out the door. It would be handy in my smaller shed which has a scattering of tools right now.

Do you HF sharpies think: 1. this is a reasonable deal; and 2. this is a good item (people seem to like them). My other boxes are too big to move around so I like the idea of mobility for more commonly used tools.

$199 is the Good sale price these days but then good luck getting the color you want if that matters. I think your doing good.

You're unlikely to get more than 25% off on a cart as part of any other sale or coupon so, while prices have gone up on the USG cabs in general, this is probably the best you can hope for moving forward.

I personally think the USG boxes and carts are a great deal. Also consider the 26" lower chest and the full bank service cart for other options with a small footprint but some more storage.

I have one purchased several years ago, solid as a rock.

I think I paid like $170, so the price today is probably about right, considering.

If they don't have the color you want, just place an order for one. They give you the same price, but you wait about a week or two for one to come off the boat. The difference between 199 and 230 is pretty small, but I can see if you don't really need one waiting a bit for a sale that might never come.

I liked mine. I upgraded to the Full Bank, which I like even better because it has a lot more room. Sounds like you might not need that, so the 5 drawer is definitely worth it IMHO.

Yeah $199 is the new coupon price, pre-covid it was $149-$159.
If you want a specific color it is one of the few items that they allow a pre-order. I got the grey series 2 a few months back and they said it would be about a month. I gave them a call after a month and it was already there but don't know for how long. The box had a special order label on it with my info so it was sent to the store specifically for me.
