I just got a box of those while buying (yet another) 3 drawer roller this past weekend. (it was inside with a bunch of other mostly (but not all) junk)

I dumped that bad boy out into the trash, and gave the box to my daughter for bead work storage.

That is the second recall on those fuses. My lawnmower went up because those things didn't break. Apparently it cost to much to fix the first time!

Second recall? Its the same one. Dates back to 2007 but i guess the OP just wanted to inform the good chinese tool loving population of GJ about his [re]discovery!

We had some very serious and dangerous damage done to a customers car becase of those fuses

We were luck the whole shop did go up. My 2 yr old daughter likes to play drive the lawnmower and I was busy putting together her tricycle when she started saying "smoke...smoke daddy, smoke" I look up and there was smoke everywhere. Lucky enough I turned the key off and it went out. I now have electrical fire ext. all round if it happens again. We still don't have the mower working..it maybe to fried to repair.

I learned my lesson with HF...if I needed it for safety....I go somewhere else!:)

Of course. Lowes is a good one too. Your Maytag and GE dishwashers, Siemens circuit breakers, GE washers, GE ranges, Paslode fuel cells, DeWalt Cordless drills, table lamps, Black and Decker blower/vacs, Hunter humidifiers, Hoover vacuums, DeVilbiss air compressors, and night lights have all been recalled due to fire hazards.

Also be careful around your John Deere - recalled because of brake failure causing loss of control.

If you use electricity, be careful around your Bosch Hammer drills, Lasko box fans, Samsung microwaves, Milbank meter cans (big ooops!), Stanley stud sensors (a shock from a stud sensor?), Intermatic digital timers, and Cooper Fluorescent lights - all recalled due to shock hazards.

Yet the HF recall list with two items should be a sticky, like it's some danger to society no other retailer is? You must live in California.
