I adore it. Like a stray cat that occasionally sits on the porch and lovingly demands your affection. Except maybe it has a small chunk of ear missing and some scars on the side. But you can't help petting and loving it all the same. As long as you wash your hands immediately afterwards.

*cough*
um - roller mechanism is great, would be nice if it was collapsible, the collar that prevents the tube from moving could be better. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase and use it often.

thanks, took a look at them today, and came to the same conclusion for 19.99 on sale, I don't think they can be beat. nice if they were collapsible though.

I have a few of these and they save me a lot of time. First I tried a few of the fixed tripod base models. Like these.

I ended up returning them. I thought the fold-up ones were a little better made and at the time they were cheaper too. I've put the end of some 2 inch diameter solid steel bar on the fold up ones for cutting and they survived. There was probably 70 pounds of weight on a single stand.

They look good to me. I have the craftsman one, for double the cost of HF I wasn't real impressed. CMAN was made in china.
