Like 125 cu.ft. ?
Guy at Tractor Supply told me he would take a third party cylinder and exchange it for a one time $19 fee vs. paying $349 for a Thoroughbred cylinder from them. He said HF sells them, but I can't find a big tank on their website.

HF doesn't sell large cylinders. The only ones I have seen are the small (5 lb) cylinders for their small portable oxy/acetylene welders. I think they also have 5 lb CO2 cylinders.

For a big cylinder, just get a new one and that way you are sure that it's certified. Ask area LWS stores about the cost of a 125 cylinder and filling costs. Isn't $350 for a 125 cylinder sort of pricey??

Yea, TS guy must have been guessing about HF tanks. I didn't see one that big either in the catalog.

Anyway, that confirms my suspicion. Thanks guys. Time to try LWS...

They might exchange between sizes, i.e. they'll take a smaller tank and give you a big one in return.
