Anyone given it a shot yet? I have some dents on the lip of my hood where I cannot get too with a hammer and dolly and I was thinking about giving this a try. It has no reviews on the HF site so I thought I would ask here. Has anyone tried one? How well do the work?

I had one, it was a POS. I took it back for a full refund. Studs would not stay in place, as soon as you hit them with the slide hammer the weld would break. I ended up just using my mig welder, with the HF studs. Made my own slide hammer. It worked much better.

Trust me, don't waste your money. I am not a HF basher, some of thier stuff is OK, but pass on that one.

i have one of those and its works great, I had a problem with the welds not holding and all I had to do was hold the heat on a bit longer and I got a much better result. I have been using it pretty regular in my side job with good luck. the slide hammer is not that great, but I fixed that, the gun works good, Keith

I bought one a few years ago and when I finally got around to trying it found out then studs would not hold. No matter how long I pull the trigger... Had lost the receipt by then so never got around to taking it back. I thought I might just have a dud. Figured if I ever got by HF again i would try buying another and then return the old one with the new receipt. Turbo above had the same problem though so may not be worth then trouble
