I'm not sure if there is already a thread on this, if so move, delete as you see fit.

I just noticed in an email sales message from HF that I can know sign up and they will text me special offers and coupons. Hmmmmm, while I like to see what is available, I'm not sure that I want to be notified of these a couple times a day, or at all. I wonder if and what possibly they will be able to glean if anything from me receiving these messages and with whom they might be sharing the info they capture.

I'd rather get an annoying amount of HF text messages than the annoying amount of robocalls I currently receive.

I would tend think you wouldn't see any special pricing offers over the current notifications they already send by email. I must get at least one daily its seems they only just match the coupons for the month and nothing is ever different.

But I do have an ITC membership on my boss's dime so I also get all those current offers too. That is a bit different once a week they they toss out a special "members only" pricing on a select group of products outside of the monthly ITC deals good only the advertised period (usually 5 days)
