The top box is pretty nice and the lid has some stout struts. I use it to store my torque wrenches but they are in cases. The advantage of another 44 is the large/wide top drawer. The top box doesn't really have that unless you consider the top but dirt can enter. I put all of my sockets in the top of the base chest and it is crazy heavy. Still slides out solidly and smoothly and only racks left to right a slight amount. Impressive for the money. If I had more horizontal space in my garage I would have definitely gone with another base chest instead of the top as they are not cheap.

Sorry for not having a update sooner, but here goes. I purchased a 7 drawer end cabnit for my hf 44. I also got a smokin deal on Facebook for another hf 44 with tools for 240. It is a older model I belive. I sits about 1/8 inch higher than the new ones. I did have to do major cleaning and now it looks close to new. So now I have a nice set up for less than 700. So what do you think? Did I do good?

I like this setup. If I were to expand, it would look like this.

Both boxes have different casters and wheels on them.. This is causing the height difference. So my new plan will be to solid mount them and make a work bench out of it..

Nice setups. I have a HF 44 at work and use a move it daily and it has been rock solid. Like others have said if you have the room get another one, if you don't go up.
