Are those casters real Faultless casters or are they knock-offs?

The real Faultless casters will have a patent number and then say "Faultless" under the spring.

I have a 14 year old HF 44. The urethane band on the caster started breaking down. Found and exact replacement, wheel only, at Surplus Center. less than 10 bucks apiece. 5 minutes per corner to replace.

You clearly just messed up. What you should have done is spent weeks trying to sell it to CL lowballers then buy a much smaller cart at a much higher price. :wtf:

Pretty sure not but I will take a closer look and see. They look a lot like that but I think the dead give away is that there are no grease fittings on the wheel bolts or anywhere else. I entertained the idea of greasing the swivel bearings and the wheel bearings but found out after looking closer that there were no grease fittings and although I could take the wheel and bolt/axle out and resolve that I think that the swivel bearings won't have a provision that doesn't involve a needle or syringe type grease injector to get them into the swivel area.

I think you are all overthinking this.
These megaboxes don't normally get rolled all over the county. They are the stationary "main boxes" in the shop.
At the plants i go to on a regular basis, ANY toolbox that is rolled around a lot gets a frame under it and bigger/better casters. Usually the mobile boxes are of the 26"-32" variety. I see Matco, Husky, Waterloo, Kennedy, Craftsman and Montezuma boxes with this done. The casters usually are larger, with much bigger wheels to handle floor irregularities.

Considering the amount of work I have to do currently just to move it over two feet total I'd beg to differ, lol.
