Harbor Freight toolbox keys

I tried a search and didn't yield anything applicable.

I have an older us general box and I only have one set of keys...freaks me out lol
I was wondering if anyone had any luck getting extra sets. I tried to go to my local serve u center and they said that they couldn't cut it because they didn't have the right equipment.
I might try a bigger locksmith company to see but any one ever had one made or bought??

A real locksmith will be able to match it no problem. I had one make me a key for a Mac box that I had NO key for and it took him about 10 minutes.

A REAL hardware store. Just got 8 keys made at my local true value. It's a local hardware store with a national name basically. Every single key worked. That doesn't happen at big chain stores.

They are anti pic locks so to my knowledge they can't be rekeyed as far as cutting a new key I'm not sure but they can replace the cylinder and you can have as many keys as you want and even key your boxes alike

I replaced my lock on my 5 drawer cart the first day I assembled it. I replaced it with the cylindrical tube style lock and key because from the factory, it felt like the keys can easily be broken and it took some wiggling for it to turn.. Easy $15 upgrade

I'd need to see the style of key first. Generally speaking, a locksmith would be able to make most any key.

Have you tried Harbor Freight? It's a long shot, but they might have extra keys in stock for the older models. They have them for the newer ones. [email protected] or 888-866-5797.
