Thought they may have raised their prices for the new year.
Actually $599 is not a bad price, just to much for my intended use.
The thing weighs over 300 pounds, that's less than two dollars a pound
for a brand new item.

Keep searching... there is a super coupon floating around for $359.00 that expires in jan 2013. Just saw it being offered on ebay. Seems Ebay is a pretty good place to do research for current/best HF coupons, but I'm not buying something that I can find for free.

Search Ebay for "HARBOR FREIGHT COUPON 44". Watch carefully and you'll find that not all of the sellers hide the bar codes, making them usable at bricks and mortar stores, even if you can't use them on line purchases.
