Here's my 44" toolbox..... (Yes it's in my bedroom, no shop at home right now)
Now at the house since I got laid off due to the drop in oil prices.....
Getting out of the oilfield now and moving on.....

What made you buy snap on screwdrivers when dam near everything else is harbor freight. Not judging just curious. How do you like the wrenches I've heard bad things about them

I got the snapon screwdrivers so I could start an account on the truck...... As for the wrenches....I've had really good luck so far with them, they seem really good for the cheap prices I paid for them....I've put the 3/4" on a rusted nut and used another wrench as a cheater and had 0 problems....it did bow a lil bit but did not bend what so ever

Those Pittsburgh taps and die sets are terrible....You should use Pittsburgh screwdrivers and Truck Brand tap and die sets.....I am a HF fan, but those sets are no bueno

Looks like a very nice start.
Hope to pick up one of those boxes this weekend also.

Awesome setup. You got mostly everything covered. It looks just like a mechanic's tool setup, but you said you worked in the oil fields. Were you a mechanic? In CA all we hear is how in demand welders are in the oil fields. What kinda work did you do?

I had just barely gotten started as a diesel mechanic in a drilling company engine shop.....was building caterpillar industrial engines to run on drilling rigs.....
Worked at it for bout 2 months and then we all got the boot and they closed the shop doors...

Nice set up man! I would love the extra drawers up top, but I also love having the work surface of the roller. It's an evil I have to deal with everyday. I know as soon as I start adding air tools I'll be all cramped up.

Nice tool box! Guessing that you aren't married? I don't think my wife would go for me trying to pass off a couple HF tool boxes as her new bedroom set...:D
