Not to Highjack this thread, but where do I sign up to get these coupons emailed to me? I used to get them and changed computers and now I don't get them anymore. I've signed up at the HF website and get their little sale ads, but no coupons.

In the upper right corner, click on the "sign up now" box. After you sign up you have to go back and click "change email preferences". Then select twice a week for the retail specials and internet specials. You should get 4 emails from them a week then. They do however only send out the 15% off coupons. For the 20% you have to go to one of the Magazine urls.

This site always has a list of the most up to date coupons:http://slickdeals.net/forums/showthread.php?t=1276399

HF has these boxes on sale again. $339 ($160 off) for the bottom box, $299 ($50 off) for the top one, $199 ($50 off) for the 7 drawer end cabinet, and $199 ($50 off) for the 42" side cabinet. Prices good 3/25-3/28.

Damn! That's a sale right (as you said), not a coupon?

I just bought the lower box for $399 last week! I want to go buy another and return it with the other receipt. They don't even need one in stock to do this.

If it is a sale and not a coupon, then can I stack a 20% on top of that?

Yes you can use the additional 20% coupon on the sale item. If you plan on more than 1 purchase you need more than one coupon. I had them ring up the top, and bottom box individually with two separate coupons. At this sale price and with a 20% coupon its a great deal.

Went and got the sales price and used the 20% coupon on top of it. Total with tax was about $290.

It's an online sale through Sunday.

Edit - Just found my receipt from last Wednesday so I'll find out tomorrow if they will let me stack the online price match and the 20% coupon.
No problem. A manager who I had never dealt with before recognized me when he came up to do the manager approvals. They returned one and rang the next, hand modifying the price.

More than pleased as usual with HF customer service.

End price, $271 with tax.

I just returned home with a top and bottom box. I am EXTREMELY impressed with this toolbox. It took 3 of us to unload the bottom box! Both boxes with tax were $551.66 out the door (sale price minus 20%).

I'm thinking about picking one up but I don't like the paint.

I'm thinking of getting one and painting it CAT yellow and either leaving the handles alone or doing them in black. Nothing glossy, more of a flat paint seeing that it'll be getting beat up.

It looks good in my mind, what do yall think?

Not sure it worth effort painting if you can get identical Ranger nicely painted with excellend latches/drawers for couple hundred more.

I have two and for the price HF probably better but if I was considering painting HF I wouldn't be getting it in first place.

I never got around to posting a picture of my box. I peeled off all the American General stickers and replaced them
