my service truck is full of HF handtools, and i rarely have one let me down. i do some pretty major repairs on some pretty BIG machinery.

I just don't have the time to deal with HF.

What do you mean by the time to deal with HF? Is there not a local store near you?

I'm there often, so if I have to warranty something it's no big deal. But, if you have travel far or warranty through the mail, I wouldn't bother either.

There isn't a HF store closer than a 1hr drive from me and a toll road or bridge, depending on whether I want to go to Allentown or Port Elizabeth. Never went to the one in Elizabeth but the one in Allentown isn't stocked well. I've only been there once. If I'm going to buy something that otherwise I'd buy from China anyway (tool storage, jacks, costly specialty tools) and HF has a well reviewed solution available immediately at a wallet-friendly price, I'll call to confirm stock and then go get it. I don't want to buy anything there I'll ever have to return. I'm not unhappy with the two tools I've bought there and I have a lot of respect for your efforts in testing and using their hand tools on the day-to-day but I still have reservations about their hand tools and I prefer to buy American produced products whenever I can. If they had a set of large-format crowfoot wrenches, I'd probably buy those though.

I am 4for 4 on tools failing from that place ,also I've used other peoples stuff that works such as,wheeled dolly from that place. But i don't post in the pass and fail thread because its never used.
