Note that it's rated at 700 *inch* lbs in the manual, not 700 ft-lbs as misstated in some of the reviews.

That's 57 ft-lbs.

And it's not really 57 ft-lbs. Impact drivers are rated by letting them them pound for several minutes with a fresh battery and then measuring how much torque it takes to tighten the fastener a little more. Perhaps using a specially built battery with selected cells, or higher voltage. And then they double the number because, you know, marketing.

For comparison, I have a Craftman version of the same type of tool. It is rated at 1400 or 1500 in-lbs. When I use it to install lug bolts I still need an extra quarter turn or so with a torque wrench.

So don't expect it to remove lug nuts, or really anything difficult. It should do a wonderful job of driving screws into wet wood without twisting your wrist up when the screws get stuck.

no way that will come even close to removing lugnuts and suspension nuts/bolts. its 700in/lbs not ft/lbs. thats about 60 ft/lbs and im sure its closer to 50-55. for comparison my milwaukee 1/4 impact driver had 1400 in/lbs and it could only take off m8 bolts regularly and m10 bolts if they werent too rusty. so pretty much anything that needs more that a 14-15 mm socket id need more power. that HF gun has half that torque and so dont expect to take off anything with a 12-13 mm socket or larger
